Emu Newbie

This would open the door for Midway and 3d games! Can't wait till the 360 and PS3 are fully supported by the emu scene like the original xbox.

Hey everyone, I got coinops 2 right when it was released but I haven't really kept up with all of the newer releases and I was wondering if the newer releases featured any changes for say the midway games (improved speed)? Also what about virtua fighter? I'm not really into the console updates for CoinOps 2- just curious about changes made to arcade specific stuff? Thanks!

Does anyone have a video of these games actually running on an xbox?

Can the xbox run official microsoft games (discs)? If so, just put the game in and go to xbox live - let it put the official microsoft dash onto the console. Just a thought, you may have already tried this one though. Ben

Sound for midway games and any more arcade games that can be found/added!

Is everyone deleting the Final Burn Legends folder from their E drive (the one that stores some info about the emulator) before using the new one? I imagine that this might help. Just a thought.

I cannot wait to see the marque's on the top of each arcade. That is what I've always wanted to see in FBL. This will be amazing! I hope someone makes a video pack, though.

I surmise that once a new generation of consoles comes out and the older consoles are being used less and less for online play - we will see an increase in the amount of emulation for the 360 and PS3, but until then I think the original xbox is the way to go (again for the same reasons - it is older [cheaper] and has no official online support - so you have nothing to lose if you modify it. If you've got a good 360 or PS3, I'd hold onto it - I'm sure it will become useful someday

What are the updates?

SO is there going to be a ResX arcade set?

I also second the optimization of Midway games (I'd actually prefer that over anything else right now).

What about 1.3? If so, how do I reconfigure to allow for me to exit games without being able to use the right thumbstick?

Hey everyone, I just picked up an X-arcade stick and I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for getting this to work with my emulators. Specifically with jumping in and out of games. For example FBL - I can't find a way to reprogram the Right Thumbstick - nor can I use a third controller just for the R stick. Any suggestions?
