  1. My GF wants me to order a DDR pad so she can play it. I was gonna order it from good ole Lik Sang, but i was wondering if anyone else had any other places tthat sell that kinds stuff?
  2. Yeah keyboards around here at the local Exchange when they have em are two bucks.
  3. Yeah AFTER we broke them into pieces =\ Systems we shipped back though, and some of that included brand new controllers and VMU's
  4. Yeah most of the smaller Gamestops were ordered to destroy the DC stuff instead of sending it to the Gamestop warehouse, since like you said, they dont make any money selling it.
  5. They didnt come down on everything that was on the tracker, it was Sega Bass Fishing that was the culprit. So of course i assume Sega is on board with the ESA, which isnt much of a surprise. I guess it was targeted because it had SEGA in the title. Although there are rumours of another someone else hosting a new tracker, so we will see. I do know that the shikigami tracker got changed the day the crap went down. One thing i dont understand is that the ESA say that they are "protecting their members intelluctual property". Some things like PS2, Xbox etc etc i can understand, but why is sega so hard up on DC stuff? They dont sell it anymore, and hardly anyplace else does anymore. I know for a fact that Gamestop destroyed most of their DC stuff, and a lot of them dont even take it in trade in anymore. The only place i can find DC stuff around here is second hand shops, and they want 14 bux for a brand new VMU. I mean i cant even find a new copy of Space Channel and Plamsa Sword anymore. Although the local Exchange has a brand new Floigian Brothers and a used Codebreaker i might pick up.
  6. The fourms that were running the tracker and a LOT of the DC game that were being posted on Suprnova got a letter from the ESA yesterday, so it may be DC games may be scarce for a bit.
  7. Worms needs a boot disc, check suprnova.
  8. Screw that man, easiest and most disapointing boss was the Metroid looking dude in FFX, same deal zombie and phoenix down and hes dead. It had to be a bug.
  9. I cant help you with that, but id love to know where you got MOW hehe.
  10. Sandusky, Ohio. America's Rollercoast!
  11. I ran into a problem last night. I had to run some errands last night, and before i left me and my GF were playing DDR 2nd Mix. Well, when i left she was still playing, and when i got back, she was done and on the computer. Well, she had never turned the DC off and now on my TV there was a message say CDrom Error for DDR. I didnt think much of it, so i just turned it off and put everything away. I had to run a few more errands that night, and my GF wanted to play Crazy Taxi 2, so i set that up for her and ran my errands. When i came back she was still playing, with a blister on her thumb ( tee hee). She REALLY likes Crazy Taxi, hehe. Anyways we decide we want to play a little DDR before we go to sleep, so i pop it in and i cant get it to load. It either freezes at the Dreamcast screen, or the sega screen afterwards. Well, i pop in SF3: third strike, and Evil twin, and they do the same thing. I hadnt tested those two yet, so im like prolly a bard burn, whatver. So i pop a DreamSNES disc i have, and it takes forever and a day to load. The list is showing up like 3 roms every minute, very slow. Anyone have any ideas on what the problem could be? Im going to clean the DC tonight after i can get some ear tip cleaners. Could the DC possibly have just been to hot? Or...? hehe i really have no idea.
  12. This is SO true for me. I have like 0 patience for games like i used to. I remember sitting down for 5 hours or so and playing the latest RPG, but i just cant do it now. Last one i tried with that was Xenosaga, but with two kids and one at the time being a newborn, its just really really hard.
  13. Thats not nescarrily true either though. I worked at our local aracde for almost two years, and my friend as the manager for almost 5. It was VERY rare to get anything worthwile in games wise, because they just didnt make any money. The things that maybe money were ticket games, that you could turn in for the cheapest prizes ever. I think during the time i worked there the only high profile titles we got were TTT, MvC2, Gauntlet: DL (only becuase it was just a HD switch), and that was about it. Everything else were just ticket games. Now i can go in there and see(VERY much to my surprise) a 40 inch VF4:EVO, SvC Chaos, SamSho 5, Mslug3, a DDR rip off that NEVER works, and that kick ass Fist of the North Star Punhcing game. I actually think the arcade market has seen a bit of a boost in the past year, compared to the last 5 or so. There are also other reasons they seem to be ona steady decline. How many of you like to go to an arcade, get ready for a good couple games of such and such, to find that the controls dont work? I was the only one at our arcade that worked to fix anything that wasnt a ticket game. The DM didnt care because it was a ticket game, and the manager(after my friend left) did care because it was a ticket games, and now the place is employed by its manager and a bunch of 16 year old girls that dont want to fix anything. ( No offense to any women here, but these are girls that obviously arent sper stoked about their job) I miss arcades. Theres nothing like the competition you could find at an arcade. Sure your friend can come over and you can kick their butt over and over, but its just not the same feeling as going to an arcade. The smack talk to people you dont know, the feeling of 30-40 win streaks over hours of time, that type of thing, are what i miss so much about the arcade.
  14. Yeah once they extract, just uncompress the.000 file ( open with winrar).
  15. I dont mean it in a bad way, but damn thats funny. As for me, ill play EQ and watch my kids till the wife gets home, then im sure we will argue about something and get in a fight. Just another day in this house hehe.
  16. I work at gamestop, and yeah we got rid of all our DC stuff, but we do still take games and complete systems in. As for the reason, its prolly because the only thing that sold was complete systems. Never sold any games or anything else, so we just got rid of em. PSX we still take because A.) they still sell and B.) they are backwards compatible with the PS2, hence the reason why A exists
  17. Well i ask him about US games when he gets on EQ today. I think its safe to assume he at least bought Soul Caliber when it was released, and if he had any problems id like to think he would have told me. Now does anyone have any recomendations as to games? I currently have MvC2, SFIII second inpact and third strike, Fighting Vipers 2(wanted this for a while now), and soul caliber, and CapcomVSnk 2.
  18. I was in the look out for a dreamcast in my area(they are hard as heck to find here) and asked my friend if he still played his. He said no and i offered to buy it from him, but in th eend he just gave it to me. I am now the proud owner of a practically brand new original Japanese Dreamcast! Now my question to you is this, the reason he got a Japanese one was so it would be easier to play Import games, and he mentioned something about burned ones as well. Will i have any problems playing US games? And does it make it easier to play burned games or is he just imagining things? I already have a copy of the Kof 99/2000/2002 tripple disc, and it plays fine, and is self bootable. I assume i may still need a Boot disc for some games though, am i correct? What boots do you recomend? Ive used Utopia waaaay back in the day, so i know how that works, but i have heard dchakker or whatever is really good to. Any other things i should know/worry about, that type of thing? And of course, thanks in advance =D
  19. Im sorry about not using the search this morning, but i had just woken up when i posted this and didnt really think about it, so my apologies. I went out and got one of the Dual Action pads last night, and either im too picky, the one i got is defective, or something else, but i have probems with that Dpad too. Not being able to use the Dpad in Neb and Kawaks does suck though. Im more than likely just gonna return it and pick up a PS2/USB converter and grab a dual shock, even though i dont have a PS2.
  20. Half Life.... I had just reached the surface and was sneaking around outside when i came to to pillars of boxes with a path between them, and two guards at the end. I hear the guards talking about me through their walkies. "Freeman as been seen in this area.", says the one on the left. I ready a grenade, looking to take them by surprise. "Everyone Keep yours eyes open, hes armed and... ", says the one on the right. At that moment, i chucked the grenade, it lands between the two and they abruptly stop talking. I watch their heads both turn to the grenade, recognition as to whats to happen in their voice. " HOLY crap! Grenad-", they scream as they try to run away. But it was to late. Not only was it the coolest display of AI ever in a videogame, and proof that Half Life is the best FPS ever made, but it was also the undoing of those two poor guards.
  21. Thats my problem exactly with the sidewinder, i find it almost impossible to do QC's with it. Im gonna mosey on out after the GF gets home and see if i can find that logitech i mentioned, and ill post here after using it for a while.
  22. I'm trying to get some ideas here. I just really got heavily into the Emu scene and my current controller, just a regular Microsoft Sidewinder, suck ass. The D-pad is a peice of crap, and i cant get it to work on games like Prince of Persia: The Sand of Time, or Legacy of Kain: Defiance. I'm thinking of getting this: http://gear.ign.com/articles/437/437603p1.html but i wanted to know what you guys might suggest? I'm mainly looking for something that has a nice D-pad, for games like SvC and KoF. So whats your suggestions?
  23. Happy New Year to you Tidus!
