I thought of contributing something now that this topic is open again... Wasn't it K´dash who said that fighting styles based loose on their real arts? In contrast some of you say that it's the moves are exactly the same... So which one is it? Or is it something the developers just pick?

actually NRX is 320x240 without any blitters enabled. Neogeo in itself is only using 320x224 at max (or 320x240 - depends on what you believe in). Ah yes, you're correct. Forgot all about the image without blitters, since I've always used one.

If if you're using Nebula, Kawaks, MAME or FBA, you can change the resolution from the emulator's options. If you're using NeoRAGEx, the resolution is fixed to 640x480.

PCSX2 has always looke promising, but the fps issue is still present.

Then I suggest that you get Daemon Tools from http://www.daemon-tools.cc and mount the CD image... Who knows, you might get lucky I use, and I've yet to see a PSX game that doesn't work with that method.

One more question: Are you running the CD imatge directly from the emulator or have you mounted the CD image?

Try enabling the odd/even bit hack in the video plugin options... If that does't help try the other fixes as well. The game should work according to the compatibility list, so I don't know what could be the matter.
