Just tried mine, and I didn't notice any slowdown in the character select menu.

That's pretty awesome, but I still smell e-penis envy. EDIT: Die filter.

I haven't experienced much slowdown, nor I have I seen any missing textures and shadows and whatnot. Eh, I don't know, maybe I don't pay enough attention.

The Bard's Tale didn't look too hot on the NES when it was released, and it doesn't look any better now. Your right though, that game is too old school even for me. Then again, I've never gotten into those dungeon crawler games.

Outside... I belive it's that thing with the sky&sun texture in the top, and people models walking around. There are few strange things about outside: 1) When you talk to someone more then once, he/she will have different answers. 2) There is no loading bar when you walk from one area to another. 3) You don't get attacked by monsters when you walk outside of a city... No that's not true. 4) When people hit you, you don't see any red numbers floating abouve you. I am still trying to figure out where you can enable it. Hmm....very interesting... maybe I should try it sometime.

Well, I want to play psx games on PCSXbox, and it can only play games in BIN+CUE format. Ah, I completely forgot that teh Bill-BoX can emulate the PSX as well.
