yeah i know championship sprint plays fine its just mk1,2,3,narc,rampage world tour,hardriven and primal rage which i have done this with. i might upload the files somewhere this weekend if i get the chance.

actually bp i dont know if this is any good to you but maybe some other people might find this useful. after messing about with the midway games to day in mamex-b6 and mameox0.72 i remembered about the mortal komabat pack which has mk1,2and3 ripped from the arcade treasures 2 pack. anyway i have the actual midway tresures2 disc so i had a look at it in my file explorer and seeing as mk1,2and3 can be launched i thought i would try the other games that arent emulated to well in coinops due to the drivers namely rampage world tour,hard driven,primal rage and narc. full list of games on the disc,the disc is basically an emualtor with roms. Arch Rivals Championship Sprint Cyberball 2072 Gauntlet II Hard Drivin' Kozmik Krooz'r Mortal Kombat II Mortal Kombat 3 NARC Pit-Fighter Primal Rage Rampage World Tour Spy Hunter II Timber Total Carnage Wacko Wizard of Wor Xenophobe Xybots the games launch directly off the dash as they each have their own default.xbe so they can be launched individually. i just made a folder for each game that arent emulated to well in coinops and there are only 3 folder files in each game folder.its very easy to do and now i can launch primal rage,hard driven,mk1,mk2,mk3,rampage world tour and narc dirctly off my dash and they are emulated arcade perfectly. obviously you have the .cut files coming but this is the best way ive found id say for people who dont wont to use earlier version of mameox like b6 or 0.72 for the midway games.

ive tried them out and heres my results. mamex-b6 mortal kombat 44/53fps mortasl kombat2 37/53fps nba jam 35/53 narc 33/57 bear in my mind the fps jumped so quick between the speeds that gameplay isnt affected. mameox0.72 nba jam te 27/53 throttle 95% and again the fps counter jumped so quickly that gameplay was not affected. mk3 38/53 again fps counter jumped really quickly between 53 and 38fps that gameplay was good. umk3 37/53fps again good rampage world tour 25/53 but again this was very minimal and the gameplay speed was never really affected especially with the throttling.

how do you get the framerate counter to show up bp???

basically double dragon1 runs better on earlier versions of mame for xbox,in 0.84 there are a lot more drivers and gameplay speed seems to slow down on certain games. basically there are 2 earlier biulds of mame for xbox which play games better for now.mamex-b6 and mameox0.72. mamex-b6 games double dragon double dragon2 mortal kombat mortal kombat2 nba jam nba jam te narc avenging spirit. mameox0.72 2on2 open ice mortal kombat3 ultimate mortal kombat3 rampage world tour primal rage. if you have ever tried any of these games on a newer mame biuld then you will know about the slowdown. if you have coinops ignite romset or any mame biuld romset on your xbox then just copy over the games i have mentioned into the rom folder. these biulds of mame use different gamesaves so you can run these 2versions of mame alongside coinops and their wont be any conflict with either biuld.

all the above games apart from powerdrift,run and gun and title fight play on coinops.

moonwalker already plays fine on coinops as for the dj boy,you can play djboy for the genesis or pc engine on the emulators medanafenx-pce or neogenesis.

this is how it played in the original neogro hardware with the slowdown.if you wont to lose the slowdown just overclock the cpu in the options.

all 3 work fine on fbaxxx pro in the newest version and fba1.28.

you need to go into advanced settings and go to the option called "Interface stretch vertical screenshots".

the video screen mounted vertically is in the hidden settings now redcap. what to do is enter the advanced settings then click down on left thumbstick and right thumbstick at both the same time to enter this hidden men and you will see it there.

mortal kombat 2 and narc on mamex-b6 and some contra on coinops ignite and the nes version on medanafenx-nes.

i know theres a lot of people out there who would like the command line so that will be a good addition.

well commandline and videos i dont use,but saying that i know a lot of people would like to see the videos and commandline implemented as you know but the animations and wma stuff can be worked on in the next biuld as it isnt a must. but seeing as there is a big project going on with rx and the video previews then getting the videos implemented would be a big thing.

i do like the rotate screen options now,i play super contra a lot and its gret now that you dont have to go into the options and turn off screen rotation. settings wise i really cant think of any as you got screen rotation and autofire pretty much covered,have you ever thought of trying animations in your skins??

i use the scart cable as i like the more pixelated look instead of hd in arcade games but i like this new biuld some good stuff on there. the randomiser is different and yeah it isnt something i would use a lot but i tried out yesterday and for trying out a game that you normally wouldnt bother with its actually pretty good.

I actually like the music,it isnt a strain on the ears and easy to listen to and the romname appearing as its loading is a nice touch. is there any filters to choose from in this biuld or if not what is coinops set to filters wise?

it will copy the iso from the disc to your computer hdd but you still have to extract the iso to get the raw files.get a hold of a programme called qwix or better still c-box tool and extract the iso file with that then you can move your screenshots and roms over to coinops ignite r3 and make an iso from the files then burn to dvdr. download cbox tool here. http://www.tacoban.eu/cxboxtool/download/c-xboxtool207.zip
