its just as easy as doing it with the normal cheat file you just change the bios in the main options once and press back and start on any neogeo game,hardly long winded and with a cheat system already in place why go through the need of converting cheats when they are already there. you also get cheats for neogeo in coinops,but you dont need the unibios for them,they are just accessed the usual way.

Haven't played Progear that far, only up to level 4 I think. Speaking of cheats, I read there's a tool that can convert MAME cheats from it's cheat.dat into FBA compatible cheats. But the link was dead, does anyone have it? I have the cheats that you gave me Fu, but there's none for any of the NeoGeo games for example. I'm thinking if I had the tool I could work on converting all the cheats available for the games FBA supports. you dont need a cheat file for the neogeo games all you have to do is when you are in the roms list go into options and change the neogeo bios option to universal. then once you load up a neogeo game for a start you can select the region you want to play it in. press start and back together to bring up an options screen and you can select cheats from the database in the bios.

never tried it on the jag but i can tell you that you need a 2ghz processor just to run a jag emu on pc so getting one to work on xbox.....dont think it will happen.

no there isnt a jag emu but there is an atari lynx emu which has aliens vs predator be it a prototype game as the lynx version wasnt finished. anyway aliens vs predator gold which came out for the pc in 1999 has been ported to xbox,much better than the jag game.

I dont know about anyone else but has anyone managed to beat the last boss on progear without credit feeding,i always end up using the cheats menu in fbaxxxpro.

what so 42 life ends or it begins... sharp x68000 thats what they should try the most underated emu on xbox,as good as the snes and megadrive gameswise with arcade perfect ports. also people should use smoe of the earlier biuls for mame on xbox for better compatibility with certain games namely mamex-b6 and mameox0.72. also the c64 emu vice64x,best 8 bit computer EVER!!!manic miner is the $hit with the best music of any game. the neogeo cd emu neocdsdlx unleashed the one that lets you play rips/copies of neogeocd games,last hope is a great shooter.

you csn launch the emulator from any dashboard not just xbmc,you do have roms in the actual roms folder dont you? if there is no ganes showing then that usually means the roms folder is empty.

you have to copy over the saves that say babe....so open up the tdata folder in the coinops folder and ftp over the babe.... files to tand u data in your e drive.

raiden fighters1and jet dont work in coinops. shadow dancer and a lot of the system 16 games like altered beast,eswat,wonderboy3 worked on an earlier biuld of fbaxxx that kenshiro had for testing last year. strikers 19452and 3 and a lot of games that work to well with sound go into settings turn off frameskip and put sound quality to low,strikers 1945 3 plays great this way. for the mk1,2,3and ultimate and also rampage world tour use mameox0.72,they play great on there with sound or you can try using the settings that i mentioned above. there is also the standalone with the games ripped from the xbox midway treasures(mk1,2and3)they play perfect.

Still waiting for the new beta that some people seems to be testing or something. there aint no betas getting tested. also for anyone thats interested streetfighter the movie arcade game plays really jittery on mame128 and coinops but i found that if you use it on mameox0.72 and turn off frameskipping it plays a lot better.

I've had the odd freeze when trying to enter the in-game menu too. Both in the latest build and the one before it. I'm not running in HD though. Edit: Yes, I just said the the odd freeze, I see the funny. thanks for that guys i do have a lot of skins in each of my emus,think what i will do is make a clean install of one of the versions i have in my e drive and see what happens and might try deleting some of the skins. but i dont want to delete any of my biulds especially the one with the sega games like altered beast,eswat...... edit/got it fixed the problem was skin related but it wasnt to do with the actaul skins that i put in that people uploaded it was because i didnt have the default skin in the skins folder.i just out it in and all my biulds started up no prolem at all so solved. thanks everyone.

something wierd actually happened today,i have 4 different biulds of fba on my xbox pro1.28,1.29c and 2 earlier biulds of kenshis. anyway for some reason none of them will start up ive gone to the default.xbe of each differnet emu and tried launching them from there and also tried launching the emus from different dashes but no luck. ive had this setup for about a year now with the different biulds but never had a problem. i tried deleteing the gamesave but no luck anyway heres the thing i have the newest biuld on my e drive and i have the other biulds on my f drive.the one on my e drive boots up just fine. all my other emus on my f drive work just fine anyone got any ideas? oh yeah and i tried reinstalling fbaxxpro1.28,deleted the default.xbe and some of the other files but kept the roms,reinstalled it and still nothing would boot up.just reboots back to the main dash.

the gba emu is good,its called xboyadvance IIRC and you should check it out.
