Darnit - you beat me to it. I was just about to post about this. I read about this in another forum, and my first thought was Nintendo pay to play online? Crap. Nice job of screwing up your already failing online service. I don't really play Nintendo Wi-Fi connection that much anyways, tho, so it doesn't matter that much to me. But I agree that they better be putting impressive features on any game they slap that sticker on. I also realize that this could mean that SSBB will require subscription to play online. And that would suck.

I agree. I think that things in our lives happen usually because of choice. Now there are some things that are out of our control that happen by chance, but most troubles in life can be avoided by choice.

Lol - no offence, but this is kinda the wrong place to go if your just starting to learn homebrew. But your lucky , since I'm gonna be nice and give you a quick run through. I'm assuming you know what homebrew is. If not, google it. To run it, you need a flashcart device that enables you to run homebrew on your ds. I recommend an R4DS, since they have the best compatibility and the best reviews. Price range sometimes varies, but when I got mine 2 months ago, I got one, along with a 2gb Sandisk miniSD (oh yea, your gonna need a memory card) for about $60. If that's a bit too much, you can always go for 1gb for around $50. Feel free to do a bit of research so you can figure out what you need.

I try to hit my local rec center 2 days a week, sometimes I do three and split the workload. Mainly work on biceps, legs, and abs. I have a problem with my left leg thigh being noticeably thinner than my right because of something that I think happened 3 years ago, so I mainly work out my legs, and sometimes do some extra upper body work to show others I'm stronger than I look

Thanks for the sympathy, guys. I have had a few flashbacks, but I'm getting better. What's weird is that I have flashbacks because I wish I had remembered more, yet had I remembered more I'd only be more traumatized, and in turn have more flashbacks. It's a vicious cycle.

And I'm not kidding, either. I was in a scary, traumatizing car accident this morning, but miraculously no one in the car was hurt. I don't have any pics because I didn't have a camera and my phone doesn't have a camera, but my friend took pics on his camera and I'll have him email me if he can. I don't remember exactly what happened, so I'll do the best I can to recall the events. Basically, i was in carpool, and we were on the highway, almost to school. We were in the right lane, and there was a mustang just ahead of us in the middle lane. Somehow (don't ask me why, I didn't see it) the mustang spun out, and hit our car at an almost T-bone angle. I felt a jerk, and the next thing I knew, I looked up front, and I saw the road cement, and smoke from the engine. It's not exactly crystal clear, but i remember it seemed like we were riding the guard rail (and we were on an overpass). The next thing i knew, we were thrown back onto four wheels, did a 180, and landed back in the left lane (we had apparently hit the guardrail twice on two wheels. The airbag had gone off, and there was smoke in the car from the engine. There were 6 kids in the car, including me, and the one in the passenger's seat suffered a small nose bleed from the airbag, while another kid got a rug burn from the seat belt. Otherwise we were just fine. And yes, everyone in the car including me was wearing a seatbelt, so those helped too. Witnesses said that God was on our side because according to them, our car was on the verge of tipping over the guardrail. I don't know, maybe it looked more dramatic than it was. Thing was, it was quite scary. The driver of the mustang (which had been bought 5 days ago) was supposedly an illegal immigrant who supposedly stole the car, because he had a fake drivers license, no registration, and no insurance. Glad I wasn't riding in my own car. He was transported to the hospital because of head and neck injuries. After all this, I'm just glad I'm even alive, and not hurt in any way.

Works fine for me, both client and server. The DS lags a bit on zoomed pics, but that's just because I'm far away from my router. Haven't tested any movies yet.

Yeah I don't think piracy is really "killing" Pc gaming. Almost everyone I know who has CoD4 bought it, the only (few) people who pirated it were nerds who knew what they were doing. I'll buy games when they're new, and if I have a computer that can run it, which I don't have at the moment. As for now, I satisfy myself with games I downloaded (can't find em in stores nowadays anyway) that are 5-10 years old which no one really cares about any more (for making money off of them).

Frankly, my 3 year old Dell Latitude is better than that (Ok i admit it, the battery's no good, but still). If you are used to doing things in XP with good speed at high res, I don't think you will like this very much. I'd definitely spend an extra 100 bucks and get a PC that's much, much better.

Works fine for me. Just make sure you have all the map packs, that your rip is patched to v436, and if you don't have the setup files get the non UMOD Bonus Pack 4 and put the files in their places. Then you should be good to go.

Once you delete the 'de' files, the game should dl them from Cindr's server. After that, just make sure you have BP4, and the other map packs listed on the front page. Then you should be good to go.

I just tried to download it after installing Steam and registering, and the Portal demo itself appears to be 6 gigs. And with my connection, that would take 12 hrs to download. So it looks like I wont be getting the portal demo.

So your saying Steam is ok and safe (won't put crap on your computer like limewire does)?

Wow that's awesome! I've always wanted to try something more than the flash portal on newgrounds. Thanks a bunch! Edit: it requires downloading external software called "Steam". There is a catch to this after all.
