The way I find a lot of new songs for me to listen to is usually by scoping out the "what are you listening to" threads on other forums. I usually checked out band names and see if I would actually like listening to them or not. Right now, I have a pretty good idea of the bands I really like, and I check out their sites occasionally to check for any new albums coming out. Otherwise, I still use the "WAYLT" threads as well as Last.fm to look for some newer stuff. When I didn't know anything about music, I used to go on gamefaqs boards to look for music suggestions. Wasn't a really good idea, I got a lot of underground music, but I didn't really like any of them at the time. Plus, a lot of more well known bands get shot down into the ground by the lurkers there. (Don't know how it is now, haven't been there for about 6 years or so)

Well, it started. I don't know when it started but today, I heard christmas carols on the radio. It's only November 15th, yet a month and a week to go before christmas, but people insist on playing the christmas songs this early in the year. I don't really have a problem with christmas songs; it's just like, Wow already!? So lately, I've been writing a few game reviews, and I was following the guidelines posted by Gamecop when it got me wondering about us reviewing the "Control" aspect. Now I can understand sluggish controls and complicated controls for action games and sports games and other games like that. But game's like RPG's and RTS really have simple controls. So they get an 8-9 out of a possible 10. It's almost like how the hell do we take off points off a simple control system. The lack of creativity!? ( '-') |

Continued Tomb Raider Legends After a long hiatus.

I was thinking about how it was my senior year at high school (whoo), and thinking about how much stuff I still have to do before I set off to college. It's going to be strange not downloading anything during my whole time year (though I know I will slip and end up downloading some music), but that's what this last year is for. It's going to be fun hoarding games, anime, music for college. I think the ironic part is that I'm not going to use half of the stuff I hoarded, but who knows, maybe I can get some of that stuff out of the way. Life is so carefree when you have not many responsibilities placed on you. It gives you a lot of time to think. But that'll probably be next post when I get into that touchy feely stuff. You know, I always wanted to end my posts with something, like other people do with a quote or a catch phrase, so I'll start doing something right now. ( '-')
