  1. gameshark and other cheat devices aren't permanent tho so that shouldn't effect the case but these guys are hacking the game's files so they're in deep dodo
  2. i guess you don't have a mode button on your joystick that lets you swap buttons for the analog stick buttons. only thing i can suggest is to leave a controller plugged in and use that to exit.
  3. mame-x or mameox 71.b seem to run mk1 best but if thats not good for you, grab the kollector's disc that comes with mk:d as that has mk1 ported to xbox but the sound on it isn't perfect.
  4. 1. yes 2. recomended but not needed 3. shouldn't effect your games
  5. i can't run win98 as is due to my dual cpu setup which win 98 doesn't support. winme would work but i'll be damned to ever use that os again (blue screen hell)
  6. well mame 72 is an improvement for midway games with dcs compared to the latest, 71.b had the dcs sound hack which made those games a lot more playable. you can grab the source to it from here as xbins doesn't have 71.b src: http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.p...ackage_id=79947

  10. i went to the site that had support for the game and it said that sp1 for xp and sp4 for win2000 cause the problem with the game cutting off its sound after its intro. i tried all the compatiblity modes and get the same results and i am using sp2
  11. yea i tried that, no luck
  12. well i bought a elmo game (Elmo ’s World Pets, Food, Telephones) for my niece but i ran into a prob: the game plays the intro fine but theres no sound when in the program and it turns out the problem is due to xp's sp1 so i'm wondering it there a win95 emu of sort that works in xp?

  17. its already simple to do as is and this forum won't allow xbe's due to them being made by illegal software, only patches to the original xbe are allowed.

  22. deadsoulz you should know the rules by now, no rom requests your first warning and hopefully your last oh and topic closed
  23. YuenBiaoFan i see you're new so fair warning that i edited your post due to breaking one of our rules here; no rom requests. for the most part, the d/nd sets can mostly be done with the latest winkawaks as its tool option allows you to save decrypted c's and also gives you an s rom from encrypted roms. plz refer to the pinned topic about encrypted/decrypted roms for more info.
  24. i'm a fan of dj boy old arcade and i'm still waiting for it to work on mame, until then you can play the genesis version of the game which is decent.
