easiest one is dvd2xbox also avalaunch dash gives you backup option when the disc pops up but dvd2xbox is best.

there is some music that i do support buying but most of the songs i grabbed from napster were old latin songs which are kinda hard to find at music stores around me unless i end up going to ny at some family occasion which is rare. i just really wanna make a mp3 disc out of them and their gone.

i'm not expecting a miracle but just a work around and using something like sound recorder does it just fine for me but tryin to figure out how to use sound forge to do as such is just bothering me as i'm new to it. EDIT: i finally figured out my prob with sound forge so i'm good to go thx for trying to help

ok, that sucks now i thought of using a recorder of sorts and i tested using windows xp's own sound recorder and it came out well except the xp's sound recorder seems to have a 60sec limit which sucks. i grabbed sound forge 8.0 that a friend recomended but for some odd reason when i attempt to record, everything comes out as an echo anyone used that app before or can recomend something better?

ok, well i grabed a few songs from napster's free 15-day trial and i read that i could use winamp to make wavz of the protected files using a output stacker plugin but for some odd reason it just doesn't seem to work for me and i'm wondering if anyone else had any luck trying to do this? i'm using winamp 5.07 pro and dietmar's output stacker

nah, most pal games work fine on xbox but theres a few that would need a patch to work on usa xbox's and vice versa for pal xbox's

if you go into settings, you'll see a page with the rom pathes (roms, more roms etc.) just set it as the new one you made.

there is a limit of files per a folder and you just hit it hehe just make another folder for the rest and add that folder to your mamedox settings

best to use the dat for mamedox and romcenter to make sure the romset is correct as there were a lot of changes since mame 84 set for moonwalker to now

i highly doubt that dvd-rom can read retail discs as i only know 2 dvd-roms that can after a firmware flash (Samsung 616t and Hitachi-LG GDR-8163b) older Thomson dvd-roms (not a hard drive 1InuYasha ) are well known for probs which is why most ppl would move on to getting a phillips or samsung since those last longer.

ok, first off thats a DVD-ROM not a harddrive the samsung 616t when modded make it into the xbox version of the drive and when that is done, the drive won't read at 16x since the xbox firmware limits the speed to x4 as te normal xbox version of the dvd-rom. its a ripoff in my eyes and i think you're better off getting a normal samsung or phillips xbox dvd-rom. thought i'd also tell you that most samsungs have a hard time reading +R media so if thats a prob to you, i suggest the phillips or a brand new thomson

well i personally will rather go for the psp hands down, it offers more then what ds will ever do and its clear that ds is going no where (and if you don't agree, then ask yourself this: why is nintendo planning to release a new gameboy this year?). some of you can rant about psp games have a "better" version on the ps2 but the main point is to have good games on the go and if its great on the console, you can damn near get the same great experience on the go and i'll be damned that you wouldn't want that i won't be buying one anytime soon as i find it to be a bit pricey but i only say that since i got other things on mind to buy and price wise its like i get one or the other.

yea i can't see this guy as venom, doesn't seem to have the right build for it. i personaly liked both movies so far (2 was better in my eyes) so i hope the 3rd one (and final one for rami to do based on his contract since he signed up to do 3 movies) goes off with a bang.

actually you'll have to blame ps1 as it was the true cause of dc's death in sales based in japan, not ps2 but none the less it was sega's own fault for killing off the saturn early while 3rd parties still had games being made for it (EA for one was very pissed about it and thats why none of their games were on dc).

well i liked SC2 but i found it too easy compared to SC1. i won't say it was disappointing but i would say its lacking. dunno about you but i found spawn to be a boring exclusive character but yeah heihachi was kinda outta place but at least was more useable then spawn. link was great but a very cheap character to use. as like someone else said, if they can make SC3 look and play liked what they did to tekken 5, i'll definitely get it.

the ide cables i used were new so i doubt thats the cause. i'll go to a shop tomorrow and see if they got IDE 2 SATA adapters, i'll just use those for the burners while the dvd-rom and removable hdd rack will stay on the ide card.

GryphonKlaw actually M$ made a media center that works with the pc one but xbmc is a lot better in my eyes simply for what it has to offer and without needing to buy extra M$ crap (the $80 remote/disc is usless without your pc having windows media center)

well i finally got my upgrade complete and it's running great but got a slight prob: for some odd reason, my cd and dvd burners buffer goes away and at times pauses the burner and then continues. now i'm guessing its due to the ide card i got my burners on (promise 100tx ide card) so i'm wondering if i buy a 133 ide card, could that fix the prob? the way i got my setup is all my hdd's except the one thats in the removable hdd rack on the motherboards ide's and my 2 burners, dvd-rom and removable hdd rack o the 100tx ide card. on a side note, would you suggest putting a IDE 2 SATA adapter to my burners if the ide card is the cause of my probs?
