  3. hehe i was talking about something i did a year ago (its actually cps1 but same rules apply). i have no intensions of hexing kawa-x again, i'll leave that to the pro Mr.X
  4. cps2 can be hexed as well; i did it for kawa-hex a while back when i added koryu hack for fun

  9. odd enough, the mame and fba i got also don't play it yet both say the game is ok to play (mame will see the romset fine but will say the rom files are missing) i also tried an old winkawks and it too locked up on that sf2 turbo
  10. i gave it a go and i liked it and even if don;t like the redone version, theres also the original neogeo one as well
  11. had an oddball thing happen: tried playing Street fighter II Turbo Hyper Fighting (Japan 921209) and it locked up while starting up. is this version even playable?

  14. well i found xbhelp.cpp in Microsoft Xbox SDK\Samples\Xbox\Common\Src but no obj of it. i've changed all directories that ask for fba src and xbox sdk to where mines is at in the project file along with changing where my nasmw is at as well so i'm lost on what else is needed to make this work. btw, this also happens to me with gogo's latest fba src (1/1) but its asking for xbhelp1.obj instead of xbhelp.obj. EDIT: i got it working, i found this weird but what i did was find where xbhelp.cpp was in the project file and replaced all the ones that say "..\Program Files\Microsoft Xbox SDK with the exact location where my xbox sdk is and it worked oddly enough you src gave me no probs but gogo's gives me a few burndriver errors (mostly dealing with sega drivers)
  15. yes its a fresh directory and it even does this with gogo's latest looking at the error more it seems that it can't find the needed file but even changing some of the directories to where i have my software still gives me the error EDIT: ok i finally got it going but now a new error stops me: LINK : fatal error LNK1181: cannot open input file '.\obj\msvc\release\xbhelp.obj' weird thing is the source didn't come with that file and its in none of my older sources
  16. well if it isn't exclusive, then why wasn't it or the first one on ps2? it would've drawn more ppl and $$$$ if it was on ps2 so i would think billy boy and co. had to make a deal
  17. "Everything" is really the wrong word to use here. "A few" would suit much better. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> ok then alot of things that i like are mostly coming out for the xbox like uhh all them star wars games and halo games and now doom 3 so yaa <{POST_SNAPBACK}> the only new star wars game they got exclusive is kotor2 but even that will be released on pc just like the first one did. halo is by M$ so thats theirs (you're not missing much compared to pc fps games currently out).

  21. its a miracle enough that doom 3 is going on xbox and seeing how ps2 can't handle pc fps games well, its best for it not to get it. i too play the doom ports on the xbox (just can't stop playing smurf doom hehe) along with the quake 1/2 ports
  22. fresh off a nice format, i decided to do compiling once again but when i tried the source posted on the first page i get a an error: Project : error PRJ0019: A tool returned an error code from "Assembling i:\Xbe_dev\fba\Filters\scale.asm" i tried my older fba sources and they compile fine but i want to be able to use the latest so does anyone have any ideas to fix this prob?

  25. he meant to say "fool's" in which makes himself one for saying that as he has done nothing compared to what gogo has done with a buggy source to what is fba-xxx is now. plain and simple: if you don't like his work, then don't use.
