First of all, I´m pleased to congratulate 1emulation, because day by day is becoming the biggest emulation web-newsletter and resource site. you can see of what I'm talking about here.

FB Alpha Plus! [u6] v0.2.95.23 Released!!!
Finally, new version is out, lot's of new stuff added including better code for ROM saving, improvement of decryption functions, added new infos and redumps... phew!!! see the readme for details.
Also this time i released FULL source, this means that you don't need to uncompress FB Alpha Plus! source over FB Alpha one, all is included, this on the downloads section.

* CODE: Cleaned up timing code slightly.* GUI: Removed all remaining hacks leftover from the old GUI menu code.
* MISC: Added quick save/quick load feature which uses it's own independant state slot. Note that quicksave files have an extension of.fsv.
* MISC: Cleaned up ROM loading code.
* MISC: Made most code that deals with ROM filenames Unicode safe.
* MISC: Changed behavior upon task switch while running in windowed modes from 'SWITCH_PAUSE' to 'SWITCH_BACKGROUND'.
* MISC: Added callbacks to stop and later resume audio playback when a task switch occurs while running in fullscreen mode.
MISC: Added region auto-detection for PAL (E) games (currently it defaults to NTSC for all others). Note that this feature must be enabled from the System->Region menu by setting Region to 'Automatic'.
* NET: Initial work on new NetPlay engine.

Okay people, the time has come to release a new version of iDeaS, or better, an upgrade to the 0.8 version.
Why the branching? Easily explained: a few more improvements were planned and now being implemented but, surprise surprise!, they haven't been included.
Thank a few people, like the one who constantly scans the site folders for betas and downloaded the same file you can grab now (leaking an already to-be-released version, what's the point of it? It's not like I put any betas on the site XD), or those who bug Evrain in MSN for Mariokart DS and Nintendogs, or a few warez forum drooling over each new version of the program.
So, sorry folks, you'll have to just cope with what is here (a good chunk of the work, if you ask me, just a few bugs to be ironed out, in addition to other improvements you won't see for now, as I said) and try to play Castlevania with a few messed layers.
