I've always disliked the ps and ps2 controller. I like trigger style shoulders (dc, xbx) over shoulder buttons. I'd rather have a saturn /Genasis 6 button type of controller myself. hopefully the capcom pads coming out at the same time as sf3 will be 6 face buttons.

Honestly dude. I would rather play Tekken 4 on a GC controller, because it handles awfully on a PS2 one.

It would probably kick azz if the xbox had a better d-pad. The buttons stick out farther than the ps2 making it easier to press the button, especially in combos.

Personally, I always think the Tekken series improved with each series, making it better. But Tekken 5 looks just like Tekken 4 in term of graphics.

Hope they do something different with the gameplay

T4 sucked.. I'm sorry, but TTT is an infinitley better game.

TTT actually took skill to play. hell, ive been playing TTT for years now and I still cant do some stuff in the game (damned jWS moves!!!!!!) T4=pokes,turtling,jabs...thats about it..

 

T5 looks absolutely awesome. a Jun like character is back, raven looks kinda weird, but his fighting looked cool, feng wei (whatever his name is...)looks evil as hell.. I hope they fix jin (no more JFLS please!!!!..) and make Kazuyas wgf Sm again... If these things happen I will love T5!!

Don't count on it. I hope they add a awesome single player mode in Tekken like quest mode in VF. They also need a better training mode in Tekken, again one more like Vf's would help.

Honestly Tekken force got old to me. It was real boreing. The only reason I finished it in T4 is because I wanted to unlock the dojo stage. If they bring back Tekken force mode they need to improve on it big time. oh and yes the control's for it sucked.

It just seems that in most 3D fighters, the characters seem to lack creativity. Maybe they're just trying to make everything seem realistic, but much of the characters in 3D fighters just seem bland. :/ (Goh is pretty cool though.)

Jfls wasnt that bad, its easily sidestepped. It was the overall tekken 4 jin way to powerful. Not many moves (only like 50 or so) but all of them very safe, and very damaging.

 

If tekken 5 fixes the balance issues, with the usual new characters and stuff, this game will rock.

 

Btw, wasn't Baek killed of by ogre or something (correct me if im wrong).
