Cominus Posted March 13, 2004 Author Posted March 13, 2004 Dream match just means "good fight" or whatever, it's just a new KOF except it runs on naomi hardware instead of the old neo geo hardware
Gryph Posted March 13, 2004 Posted March 13, 2004 Dream match just means "good fight" or whatever, it's just a new KOF except it runs on naomi hardware instead of the old neo geo hardwareIt runs on Atomiswave, not NAOMI. Basically a KOF Dream Match does not have a real plot that fits into the KOF timeline. It's just a bunch of characters, even ones that have died in previous games, that fight it out. I hope Geese is in this
Inky Posted March 13, 2004 Posted March 13, 2004 I find pretty backgrounds and crappy sprites hard on the eyes myself. my only complaints about CvS2 and MvC2 and now it rears its ugly head in the latest KOF. can game companies redraw the damn sprites?!!
2eyez Posted March 13, 2004 Posted March 13, 2004 Why don't they just put all the characters in from Garou, Real Bout, and KOF.
Wizard Posted March 13, 2004 Posted March 13, 2004 Takes too long, costs too much. Imagine they brought all Garou's and AoF's characters into it. With the amount of characters, they would have to redraw every single "new" character.

ForceX Posted March 13, 2004 Posted March 13, 2004 It looks pretty sweet...I cannot wait until high res pics get released Anyways, we just have to wat for someone with the skillz to emulate the Atmoiswave...but considering its based on the DC and the DC has not been emulated yet...It looks like we are in for a long wait...
Hagan click sobre la imagen para descargarlo I just checked it out and it's the kof 3d, it had a couple of new characters and they showed some footage of the game but im not sure it it's ingame or cgi(damn ps2 so damn good looking).. well heres a link to get an intro vid for the game, scroll down to the bottom to find it.http://snkmaniak.iefactory.com/index.php Edited March 13, 2004 by Cominus

Damn, whenever someone does any kind of FREE work for others, there's always someone else to complain that he didn't do enough...It's not really meant to offense anyone though, it just seems like it is a law of nature...
Gryph Posted March 13, 2004 Posted March 13, 2004 Well I downloaded that video and its looks good. I'm pretty sure they'd be showcasing the ingame graphics and not CGI. The only instantly recognizable character was Terry, but I'm sure it will have a cool cast.

taratata Posted March 13, 2004 Posted March 13, 2004 I hope it won't be too much in a Tekken 4 style. Some characters in this intro just looked too tekken-ish to my taste. But it's just the intro, we'll have to see the game itself...
veristic Posted March 13, 2004 Posted March 13, 2004 I dont get it, is this another 'dreammatch' KoF?
