GateKeeper Posted January 2, 2004 Posted January 2, 2004 mslug5 works on mameox but you need have to have a xbox with 128 meg ram upgrade also need to update the neogeo.c in order for it to show up after update and made your new default.xbe and mameox.xbe your done
Prican25 Posted January 2, 2004 Posted January 2, 2004 personaly, i find it really gay that they still haven't enabled vmm in mame ox cuz i for one am not gonna add 64mb for me just to run a few games unless you wanna pay for it (lantus, a man that made a few emus for xbox even agrees lol) mslug5 is working on kawaks as is and i'm sure it will be working on kawa-x soon

They have lives outside of MAMEoX and they have only one guy working on VMM at the moment (Only one with enough info to work on it). MAMEoX source is available if you wanna work on VMM or know anyone with expirience in C who could work on VMM

bbysknnr6 Posted January 3, 2004 Posted January 3, 2004 Maybe once ODD and Lantus are all done with Surreal64 they might work on upgrading MAMEoX. Im sure if they could work their magic on the N64 emulation and get it workin so well, they can definitly do it to MAME.

THen after beta 4, superfr0 took over. Oh and i dont know what was up with disabling vmm in mame-ox .

N3oGhost Posted January 6, 2004 Author Posted January 6, 2004 that new p1 you mention is the NEORAGEX p1 rom and it does not work. At least when i tested it. It was written specifically for neoragex along with a hack to the emulator in order for it to run. As soon as i got my hands on the p1 i tested it right away. I tested the P1 and M1 that are used for neoragex. the game loaded with same characteristics as before.
