Is there a way to play street fighter 1 yet?

I just wanted to know if anybody has found a way to play street fighter 1 yet.Without having to get a 128 meg ram upgrade.

You mean Fighting Street? Yeah, you can play the PC Engine version. It was a CD game. Use MednafenX-PCE to play it.

Why choppy gameplay? I play Xmen vs Street Fighter and Marvel vs Capcom just fine on my Xbox, albeit it takes a fair bit of time to load.

Why would the original (And you'd want to play it why? It sucks) Street Fighter be choppy?

the way they render screen requires alot of mem the xbox doesnt have I think. Anyways SF1 is working but at 1 frame a seconds. So in reality no it doesnt work and I cant see it going on xbox

yes that is the best solution for sf1 on the xbox or update the ram

Only on games that use alot of memory. Most games that run slow do so due to insufficient CPU power so more memory will make no difference.

Not at all. Very difficult to do, very hard to find someone to do it. Hardly any real benefit. FBA-XXX runs perfectly on normal 64Mb XBox for all Neo/CPS1/CPS2 needs.

you are dreaming if you even think xbox can even play those

 

back to the main topic, i believe capcom collection vol. 2 has sf1 so no need to worry about mame for this tho there is tg-16's fighting street cd (same game, different name) which works damn well on xbox.
