Well, I've already been here since... dunno how long, but I only recently became an (somewhat) active member =D.

Blame Canada 2 weeks of vacation with no holiday planned :buttrox:

 

But now that I admitted my newbieness, let me ask a newbie question:

What makes 1Emu different from other emulation forums? What exactly has it got to offer?

We are newbie and n00b-friendly. More so than some other boards.

But most forums I go to became popular popular because of the website or organization it's connected to. But 1Emulation seems to a forum alone. So how did this forum became popular? What did it had to offer besides discussions, that made all those people come here?

Google, word of mouth, mostly google I assume.

hard work, lots of hardwork, Gamecpo, the Forums founder has worked hard to make the forums grow since the very first day they started

I think GC hit the Goomba on the head when he added the huge arcade. I've even got a couple people to come and join. Haven't actually posted, but they screwed around in the arcade.

I just discovered the Arcade section too, and it's indeed a lot of fun to you try to break those records .
