I got it yesterday. I like the barber, tattoo shop, and clothing store, features. my dude looks like mr T. heheh. I also like that you can swim and hop fences now. basicly all the minor improvements make the classic gta gameplay alittle better.

I could do without the "boyz in the hood" storyline.

SOLD! I am definitely going to get this game now. But I have to wait till pay day...or do I?

And Bigworm, I've read that it is compatible with USB controllers.

yeah i think i will pick this up to me and gamecop played vice city online before it was pretty fun im buying it for the chance of multiplayer alone, since i have the PS2 version which is still the best version to me.

well for the consoles sake, it has parts in the game where 2 players can play but thats about it.

i'm gonna get for xbox and see how much it improved over ps2's version tho from reading gamespot's review, they claim not much was done but i gotta see it for myself to judge it.

As for multiplayer

I'll bet money that mod for GTA3 and GTA:VC gets ported for GTA:SA (The PC version anyway)

As for buying it:

Ill probably get it on Xbox becuase ive been playing more console games recently and I didnt buy it on PS2 because i dont like alot of the music in it but i can fix it on the Xbox one with custom soundtracks :) (You can do custom soundtracks on the PC too, but i dunno i just need a console game :P )

on ps2 me and my mates play 2 player "freeroam" and u can do heaps of sh*t omg that wud b so cool , to have online :):o i wish though but i have it onto ps2

I'll get it for PC when I have the time. But there are so many other games coming out for pc that I have my eye on. Also, don't really have much time this summer as I'd like for video games.

The only good thing I see coming out of this is the fact I can place other music from the early 90's here. And it's not really up there.

well i got my hands on it for xbox and i gotta say its a bit disappointing for xbox sake compared to what they did for gta 3+vc set.

first thing i notice was jaggies and that surprises me to see it that bad for an xbox game but even with the jaggies, the game does look more clean on xbox then ps2 but just barely making a difference compared to what they did on the gta 3+vc set.

the other sad thing is the loading time in the game isn't much different then ps2 which is surprising since xbox has a hdd to use and on top of that, you'll see it say loading in parts of the game that shouldn't like when you're changing clothes and such.

the last disappointing thing is a minor one and it deals with the soundtrack option: in the gta 3+vc set, you're able to select discs/tracks but in this version it won't let you which is a shame.

other then what i mentioned, it plays well and has less lag in some parts of the game compared to ps2's version but overall i would've expected it to be like the gta 3+vc set which was done nicely on xbox.

Just got around downloading it yesterday night, installed it today and I'm about to give it a go.

i do plan on getting the pc version just to see how well that one is but right now i'm using a cheap pci gf 4400 card untill my 6800 ultra comes (step up program hehe)

The PC version is sweet, although the keys are kind of hard to configure right because 1) I'm left-handed and 2) GTA:SA refuses to recognize 5 on the keypad.

The soundtrack is just awesome and so is the overall feel of the game. Rockstar did it again.
