That scene is in the movie, it doesn't show it much, but it talks about it, you HAVE seen it haven't you?

I read from somewhere that Lucas cut the scene out.

They might just make it to the DVD

Well you only see it part of a hologram, not the actual event happening.

I personally loved it and thought it was better then the previous 2 episodes and linked all the movies finally. Also Palpatine was the best when it comes to bad guys.

According to the stuff I've read, the Jedi made the lightsabers from special crysrtals; either blue or green. The Sith also constructed their own lightsabers, but they needed to be made from red crystals.

 

There was also a few lightsabers made from a yellow crytal, but they had the ability to cut though different colored lightsaber beams, and thus they were banned by the Jedi Order.

so does that mean the color/crystal affects the strength of the lightsaber? and how come there's only one purple lightsaber(i think) ?

well its basically blue=good red=bad

I'm not sure it's ever been explained.

 

However, if anyone has played Kotor1/2...

 

Blue is for the Guardian (Focuses more on combat).

Yellow is for the Sentinel (Balance Combat and Force using).

Green is for the Consular (Focuses on Force using).

 

The rest just seem to be extra colors. =P

 

Btw, I just saw this movie last night. I was very Satisfied and I thought it did the series justice. Hell, it made me watch the old Trilogy again.

 

I felt this movie really showed the importance of Obi-Wan. In Episode 1,2 & 4 I really didn't get the impresion that Obi-Wan was anything special... Just another old Master. But, the way he fought and the choices he made... I like him a hole lot more now.

Mace Windu is the only Jedi with a purple lightsaber. He is the only one with a purple lightsaber because it is Sam Jackson's favorite color so that's why he has a purple one.
