So yea this dude Thomas Haden Church is to be the next villain... but i wonder who this dude will play?

does he have a Venom build? To me he looks like a scientist character (if so would that be lizard?)

Wow, he goes from being Lowell on the TV show Wings until '95, then is basically unheard of from then until the movie Sideways, and now he's going to be cast a a Spiderman villian? Personally, I'd pick Gary Oldman for a villian in ANY movie.

well green goblin (harry) has to be in there somewhere....rumor has it that its gonna be Black Kat..but with Church....hmmmm i really dont know. hobgoblin? he looks psycho enough to be hobgoblin.

I wish they'd put venom in the next film. I would go see it ASAP.

I know they want this series of movies to go for a while but they are not putting the top villians in. They started good with Green Goblin the they went to Doc Ock which was excellent, now all we can speculate on for 3 is that Harry will be green goblin for a small peice of the film, and it seems they have changed their mind on putting venom in. Who here can honestly see Church playing Venom? Anyone? I'm with the majority he will either be the Lizard or Hobgoblin. I'm just wondering what they are saving the other villians for since most of the cast only signed 3 movie deals.

Umm...hell no. Doc Ock destroyed the movie. I walked away dejected that it didn't live up to the first film. They needed a badass villain that you can hate, and excudes evilness. Doc Ock didn't fill that role. Instead he's a lame anti-hero who can't make up his mind on whether he's good or bad.

yea i can't see this guy as venom, doesn't seem to have the right build for it.

 

i personaly liked both movies so far (2 was better in my eyes) so i hope the 3rd one (and final one for rami to do based on his contract since he signed up to do 3 movies) goes off with a bang.
