Once again, before I start a thread, any news on the Halo movie?!

 

Edit: Making the monsters born from a virus is stupid, they should just stick to the story line, and why is this movie low budgeted? ALL the good games transfered to movie's should have a high budget so that the fans could get what they want, or else the company's shouldn't even lend there licenses for the purpose...this is going to blow..

The news on the Halo movie is that Bungie won't allow it to be made if they don't get Ridley Scott to direct it. There were rumors that Ridley Scott denied but no one really knows.

To every rule there is an exception, Emsley is certifiably insane so it doesn't matter. But Ridley Scott is a great sci fi director, probably the best.

Hell, Ridley Scott should do Alien 5, as the Saga needs a proper conclusion.

 

As for Doom 3, I'd like to see it forst until I pass judgment, but if the unholy gods of video game movies are to be trusted, the movie is goign to be mediocre at best.

The PS1 version of Doom was based on Final Doom with the 2 or 3 levels cut due to space issues.

 

If I recall, Rock is doing a supporting roll the last time I checked imdb.

Mortal Kombat 1 is still, in my humble and valid opinion, the best game to movie conversion ever. Even it's little quriks made it into the MK3 and up. (the 2nd movie wasn't made by that dude who did Resident Evil, a bunch of nubs did the 2nd movie).

Adds Cyber Demon as the true boss and that's for sure.

 

And you will never know if Rock would stars himself in that particular movie. Still the movie is still not in the making yet.......

 

Apparently more movies and upcoming ones are based from the original game. And I pretty hope that the movies they made is not like the previous game-movies (I won't mention anyway) which is considered as one of the worst movies ever made.
