I like all kinds of movies but there's nothing as good as a really funny comedy. Comedy is just so hard to do so I really love it when it's done right.

 

It kind of depends on what mood I'm in though...I like them all.

 

And for the record, I don't consider this a spam topic since it can illicit meaningful posts so please don't ruin this thread and force us to have to move it.

Sci-Fi and Horror

Star Wars , Star Trek (series and movies) , X-Files , Friday the 13th , Nightmare on E.S. , Maneater , Zombie ,... and so on... LoooL

I'll see anything good, but a true test of what kind of movie you like is what sort of bad movies you'll go see. I'll see anything scifi, no matter how crappy.

All movies are good imo. With the execpt of romance movies are just too damn romantic, I want some comedy in those.

besides bladerunner and johnny pnuemonic what else is considered cyberpunk? maybe free jack and lawnmower man. I was really looking forward to neuromancer but it got canned. it is my favorite book, william gibson pwns

yeah there isnot much on cyberpunk, but all the movies based on Philip K Dick, Matrix and another movie made by the same people as matrix, but purely cyberpunk, not much besides what you already mentioned, in fact i can´t find much stuff about this anywhere, movies, games, internet sites, comics, and stuff, if anyone has a recommendation regaring this i am all ears

Purely from a gaming perspective I like movie tie-ins. For the most part they are crap but at least you can 'identify' with the characters that you have maybe used and interacted with for years.

 

Example - SF the movie is crap, but I just like the fact that you were able to have 'fleshed-out' versions of most of the SF favs. Blanka was atrocious all the same. And Bison was camp to say the least.

 

Otherwise I like ensemble films like 12 Angry Men, Usual Suspects, Glengarry Glen Ross and Heat, to a degree.
