Just an FYI i got a self-boot disc of the emu and burned an iso+mp3 of Ironclad. It loaded up just fine (took awhile) but no audio . Still pretty damn cool Audio might have been on my side though because it is listed as working (dont know if that means audio/game or just game). The game did load up though........hot hot hot

Im definately a minority but I enjoyed Revolutions very much. I never watch a movie as some snooty "ive watched all the "good" movie" critic. I go in wanting to be entertained and it did that quite well. I even UNDERSTOOD the damn thing. Not that there is a singular perspective but i got what i wanted to out of the entire story and i left the final episode satisfied. The Matrix was a milestone in filmaking and theres no denying its effect in the entertainment industry. and my name has nothing do with the Matrix. For the most part the FPS online games that are featured on the xbox have their much better and more players/games available online for PC. Id stay clear of the FPS games on xbox if you have a pc. For the ones you do wish to play, suck it up and play. For the most part (as you know) the PC experience will always be better IMO. I would never imagine myself saying this 2 years ago. Ive seen the light and im not goin back! PC games rule for FPS online games. The BIG FAT xbox controller is the best one for me so far. Despite everyone talkin crap about it, i find it to be the best and most stable controller. If you like the PS2 controller then just use it. Your probably not going to spend as much time on your xbox playing FPS games like you do on your PC.........

I have both actually *(Namco and X-Arcade) I have yet to hook up the BEAST (X-Arcade Dual) to the pc since i have the namco stick hooked up there. The X-Arcade handles my emu stuff fine on the xbox. No complaints here. It was a Christmas gift a few years ago.

Looks like you just answered your problem. Get another TV or save the 80 you do have for another one. Most tvs have svid now.......or perhaps an SVID to RCA convertor? Gives you an idea of whats out there and what to look for though. EDIT** well that one was cheap but online. you can get yourself a newer videocard that offers TV OUT (usually svcd) it will upgrade your video memory for your pc (most likely) and allow you to shoot your vids to your tv without burning anything. Since you dont want to spend more than $80 i wont tell you to get an xbox to use it as a mediacenter. unless you have an xbox then you can get a chip for it *less than 80* if your not into PC GAMING the new vid card wont be much use. (im sure you can find one for less than 80. I dont have anything special but it has vid out (Nvidia FX 5200) probably around the 80 dollar range now.

edit* oops your lookin for recorders.......sorry mate didnt read all the way i was thinkin burners. PLUS vs. MINUS Minus wins the war simply for compatibility. I have yet to see any advantage for + but i have noticed compatibility issues with systems, dvd stand alones, etc. I have not seen an issues with any of the MINUS (-) r's ive burned in any device ive dropped them in.

Well to answer your question about SVC, its definately a rom issue. Just play around with different P roms (god knows there are several for this game). If you want a new version the time would have to be now. You can either get mine that basically adds support for some new games (zintrick and ghostlop), implements latest Uni-Bios v1.3 (you can use cheats for new games like svc, kof2k3, etc) and imported the CPS1/2 switch bug/ sound fixes that Gogoghackman discovered. Or you can try Gogos newest build. From what i hear it has some cool features like separate menus for CPS1/2, Neogeo, etc. AUto Loads UniBios, etc. I havent tried it but seems to be cool. Im not a big cps1/2 user lately so i dont know much about the sound issues with fbax and if they are all fixed now with gogo's code but i implemented it and its confirmed to be working.
