McDonalds Japan spreads spyware on mp3 players
Mooney replied to Mooney's topic in Gossip Café [/offtopic]
But if you go to BK, that creepy King dude will sleep with you... -
From www.darknet.org.uk/: Wow... McDonalds really IS super-evil! They want your soul... SUPERSIZED! Thoughts?
-
I'd have to agree. Unless you have tonz of monehs, in which case I'd say get both.
-
No, I haven't played it yet, What sport/genre is it?

How do you suppose the Windows installer runs without windows being installed? How do you suppose Knoppix runs without being installed? From a disk... You download nLite as a Windows Installer! How the fsk does that work?!?
-
I figured out a bit too late that nLite is supposed to be used before you install Windows. So, this prompted some questions: 1. I've already installed Windows; is there any way I can still use nLite without reformatting? 2. If I would have to reformat/uninstall Windows, would it really be worth it? 3. How are you even supposed to run it without Windows being installed? Thanks!

Acually, there is a reason for this. If you've played a lot of Japanese sports games, you'd notice that the main character and the main team are almost always the same: Kunio Kun and Nekketsu. This is because all these games (including RCR) are developed by Technos Japan.
-
This game is actually for the NES, and it is called Ike Ike! Nekketsu Hockey Bu. I'm pretty sure this was only released in Japan, but I could be wrong.

What is what? He means what is DS2Key

WEll, 2.71 SE-B' doesn't really have anything SE-B doesn't have except *EXPERIMENTAL* no UMD mode for running ISOs off the MS. Also fixed a bug that made it crash if there was no ISO folder. Other than that, it's all the same. EDIT: Oh, WOAH! I hadn't seen that 2.71 SE-B'` was released! I'm gonna install this post-haste!

Thats interesting.. I havnt experienced any such lag.. even when Iv used the UMD and Rips of a few games side by side to compare the difference. Some say it happens if you compress to CSO. Is that the case? I still havnt noticed any such problems at 222mhz or otherwise. You know, I never thought about CSO compression causing lag. I've just always done it so I could fit more games on my MS. I'll have to test that theory...

I''l have to say the Wii. While I think the PS3 has more power, I've just heard and read too many bad things about it and too many good things about the Wii to actually commit. So, Wii it is!

My Halloween was pretty boring... I was at home helping pass out candy, but not in the normal way. You see, my mother cannot settle to be normal on Halloween. So, every year she puts up a dragon that runs from our attic (3rd floor) to the landing, and I have to sit up there and throw candy a tube so it comes out the dragon's mouth. But hey, I get all the free candy I want!
-
They run at 222mhz. You can up the clockspeed using those other hacks.. but not in SE-B itself. Why would you want to though? When you say run 'slow' do you mean slower than they would be if you ran them off the UMD normally? Yes, I mean that when I'm playing my GTA.ISO, there is a lot of game play lag. However, I just discovered that someone has released a 2.71 SE overclocker, which lets you change the default clockspeed to either 111Mhz, 300Mhz, or 333Mhz. Since Wifi does not work at 333Mhz, I chose 300Mhz, and now everything is running smooth.

No problem! I do what I can.

What is the best method for making the PSP
Mooney replied to SF2MJ's topic in PSP and Vita Hacks [/psp]
Well, if you could tell me some things, I could help you out: 1. What firmware is your PSP? 2. What firmware are you using DevHook to emulate? 3. What setting do you use in the "Boot Select" menu? -
Wow... that was actually real... I was expecting it to suddenly show a picture of a demon girl and emit a loud scream... but it didn't!
-
woot, Halloween. Enjoy stealing candy from babies!

So you downgraded to 1.50? Ok, then you just have to make sure you're using the correct version of Snes9x TYL. (Get the latest version, Snes9xTYL 0.4.2me, here: http://yoyofr92.free.fr/psp/snespsp.html ) If you downgraded to 1.50, put the "snes9xTYL" and "snes9xTYL%" folders into "X:\PSP\GAME" and it should work. If not, I'm not sure I can help you any more.
-
Well there's your problem. In case you did not know, absolutely NO homebrew games/emulators work with 2.82. Also, no downgraders. Sorry buddy, as far as homebrew goes, you're screwed. All you can play are UMDs you buy, or wait for someone to make a downgrader, which may be a loooooong time from now.
-
Lots of things could be wrong: 1. Did you extract the emulator from the zip file, or did you just put the zip file onto your MS? 2. What firmware are you running? 3. Did you use the correct version for your firmware?

5 things you hate about your psp
Mooney replied to Sybarite Paladin AxL's topic in PSP and Vita Hacks [/psp]
There are, but I'm not sure those are very great either. For example, you can use Wipeout Pure to browse the web, and someone ripped the web browser out of Fired Up, which I used for a while (Before DevHook with 2.60 support came along) -
Yay extra hour of sleep today!

Depends on the size of the memory card you get. The M3 and a NoPass card cost about $90, or if you don't want to be able to play GBA games, get a Supercard + NoPass card for about $50-$60. Then, a 1Gb SD card usually goes for around $30 these days, and a 2Gb goes for about $50.
