So I decided to do some cleaning on the old hard drive, and I came across this program, WinDirStat. It shows you a visual representation of what's taking up space on your hard drive, and how much space it is taking up. Here's what my new computer's hard drive looks like (I labeled it myself, fyi): Then, I proceeded to use Crap Cleaner to get rid of 1.3GB of, well, crap, and Auslogic's Disc Defrag to defragment over 27,000 fragmented files. So... what's taking up space on your hard drive?
