  1. CD burners are REALLY cheap now though, i got a DVD burner for 40 dollars brand new so i would just replace it if i where you
  2. yeah i get those alot too, one time i got like Wuhang Police Department or something
  3. Do you use PG? No? well you should! anyway, post some weird blocks youve had in it. Ive had some preeetttyyyy weird ones, One i get every once in awhile (while seeding a certain file anyway) is: The Presidential Office of The President Of Lithuania or something like that. Thats all i can remember off the top of my head but ill post more later, post yours
  4. i used to use bitcomet, which i liked alot, but alot of sites banned it because of some glitch or something, and now i use uTorrent, its really good imo, the only thing i miss about bitcomet is header encryption.
  5. Go into your CD burner program and see if you can increase your buffer size, that helps for alot of people Also, i heard somewhere that burning CDs at 52X with any drive is just like not really too stable or something, something to do with the chemicals in CDs and its just not really something you should do even though you can, i wish i remembered more about what it said, but they said you should just go to 48X, which isnt much slower anyway.
  6. oh man i just picked up DMC3 SE yesterday and im so addicted, its friggen awesome! Im only on mission 8 or something so far because i also finally got Rainbow 6 Lockdown and i was playing that for awhile but wow, im going to play DMC all day today hehe
  7. oh man this is one of my favorite saturn games its like Ikaruga except actually beatable lol i also like NiGHTS but i cant find it ISOPLZZOMG!! heh
  8. Ill probably buy one if they are like 100 bucks or less because im sick of using my brothers plus i doubt it actually looks that bad, its probably going to be like iPod white-ish and those are just crappy pics/crappy models or something, and iPods dont really turn yellow unless they are dirty
  9. The only reason i even tried nintendogs was because there was a Shiba Inu in it, I see no Shiba Inu here so /fail
  10. ive actually seen most of those (cept for the anime, i dont watch enough anime) But there are definitley a few i remember wanting to see didnt, and forgot about, thanks Oh and i just thought i might add, Waiting was HILARIOUS, its really underrated
  11. ive seen all of those cept The Taxi Driver, ill check that out though, i may not have seen life is beautiful either, dont remember
  12. Hey, so i watch ALOT of movies, like TONS of them, My favorite Genres are mostly Thriller, Horror, and Comedy, But there are obviously some other great movies from other categories. But anyway, its like, I need more of those awesome legendary movies to watch, that are just really good, I want another movie thats going to make me cry or just leaving me like....holy shyt!!.. (ive never actually cried but you know what i mean.) Its like, I feel like ive seen them all, But thats impossible because there are billions and billions of movies. Does anyone know some just REALLY good movies?
  13. What OS is the older PC running? Im guessing this is another XP Issue
  14. While i agree with you for the most part, You do have to admit that there are times where it is ALOT easier to keep up to date than others. Like when processors where stuck at 3.2GHz for like...ever and when the ATi Radeon 9800 was the best for a long ass time, same with the GeForce 4. Maybe i just look foward to the slowdowns in technology advances because i dont have the money to keep up with it at the moment so it gives me time to kind of catch up. Ive only had a completley (or at least close to) up to date speed machine PC ONCE in my life, and it was a 166MHz slightly upgraded Dell. (in fact im still using the nice monitor that came with it attached to my old Dell Laptop right now....500MHz) My fastest computer right now is 2.4GHz
  15. and free on bitorrent A Game like MGS shouldnt be hard to find online
  16. Good point Plus you have to realize with Linux, Theres either somthing you have to pay for, which you can either A. Pirate or B. Look for the free version of the same exact thing which is better anyway
  17. Cheaper? Linux is free. BTW you can also boot linux off a CD-R/DVD+-R if you wanted too which is cheaper than a CD Key but you might not have a CD Burner/DVD burner in the PC which means no writing to it (If you used an RW) and you have to use the PCs HDD
  18. yeah and they are all going to come with new connector standards which means more upgrades >_< I think we are either about to hit, or are entering the beginning of one of those periods of time that comes along every once in awhile where its next to impossible to keep your PC up to date.
  19. yeah true that! My friend bought some CD-ROM Drive, and was able to flash it to a CD Burner!!! (This was back when CD burners where somewhat of a big deal)
  20. this is actually a pretty hard choice, GOW, or DMC...hmm...i liked them both alot...
  21. well a firmware is usually pretty small, what he should do, is make up some completley fake hacker group, rename it or something, and release it into newsgroups or something not so easily accessible from a public library or something. Everyone else will do all teh spreading. I wouldnt want to get caught either but its harder to get caught than you think. Plus techinically this is a hack for a DVD drive, so wouldnt it be Hitachis responsibility to take action?
  22. i think its Hitachi, Hitachi makes TONS of products they are rebranded sometimes more than once. Same with Mitsubishi. Right now i have two Seagate drives and a Maxtor in my other computer, I think Maxtors tend to last longer but i like the performance of the Seagates better.
  23. yeah, thats actually the one im gonna buy 16MB Cache *drools* Seagate has one like that too but tiger doesnt sell it Theres also a Seagate one just like the hitachi for 40 dollars less but im guessing Seagate is reselling Hitachi products with that one (or was that Maxtor?)
  24. http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/Se...p?EdpNo=1533843 Good ol Hitachi
  25. CTRL+SHIFT+ESC brings up the password prompt for alot of security software If CTRL+SHIFT+DEL isnt blocked, you can close it sometimes but your usually not that lucky Booting into safe mode and deleting the security software off the HDD Put damn small linux on a USB key and boot into that and do basically the same as above
