why does it seem like we have been stuck at around 3GHz for like...years.. I know there are a few 4Ghz processors out there but when are they going to become widely available? Shouldnt we be more worried about more GHz that optimizing more and more? I think they should make 4GHz or higher some kind of standard and optimize that more than worry about optimizing what we have now

I want to see some totally f-ed up gory horry movies that scare the living crap out of you. Anyone have any ideas? I saw some thing about a movie called Death Tunnel where its filmed at one of the most haunted places on earth (considered one of the top 10) and it looks interesting, based on a true story, its in some sanitarium. But im seeing a lot of mixed reviews, anyone seen it? I reasearched a little about the true story and it sounds cool. but yeah i need really scary movies that will drive me insane! (no snuff films though, i dont care how gory it is as long as its not real because i would just feel really sick watching that, i dont have a weak stomach or anything its just not right lol)

I agree, Im only paying 55 dollars, and i get a 400w power supply i can easily cut a window if i want one. Antecs are nice, but they are also expensive for what they are. I do like that aspire case though, the other one is kinda weird looking, i dont want my pc to look like its going to eat me lol

yeah the Audigys where hot shiz for a loooonnngg time, i might consider that i do REALLY want the X-Fi though, if i had the money there would be no debate for me. and uhh, with the card im upgrading from...anything will be an incredible jump hehe, i was using some old POS i had lying around untill i was gonna actually buy one for the pc i built, and well it died hehe

I also need to replace my processor fan (it is very loud, and i kind of broke it but kind of fixed it? Hard to explain, thats just a standard one size fits all type of deal right? as long as i select the right socket type i mean.)

that program he sent me allows me to change the max connections. But i will try that fix instead (EDIT: the one you just posted i mean)

yeah plus using ram on a sound card would seem kinda weird to me, im guessing all that RAM is really there for is a buffer for recording, and since the Xtreme music is mainly meant for playback it doesnt need it.

That card is amazing, and would definitley fit my setup alot better (im a Hi-Fi nut) im not sure i can afford that right now because im getting a case, RAM, and a video card too. is there anywhere i can get it for around 80 bucks? the X-Fi Xtreme Music would be good enough because im not going to be doing any recording or anything with this PC.

What do i need to do now? I know i need to turn off that security center thing because its annoying, and how do you fix that max connections thing?

It would be nice to have a sound card that was only stereo and had the same audio quality or better because i would think i could save some money, but then again i may get into surround sound later. but later would be wayyyyy later, im still looking for a good surround setup for my TV.
