Im planning on doing a Dual Boot WinXP+SuSe 10, Is it easy to do, or do i need some guide, because doing it with Windows 2003 was a nightmare and left me with a screwed up MBR (i have WinXP in there twice and Windows 2003 still in there, and i have no idea how to remove it)

In Other news, People have figured out how to squeeze that Xbox 360 Kiosk disc onto a CD-R by removing enough stuff, theres a team working on porting flash games to it since the Xbox Arcade games are flashed based, and another cool feature is removing everything from it, and putting your own movie files on it (and just renaming the movie file) and you can play your own movies (which is somewhat useful i think, i have no idea what format it uses/what formats it can play off your PC/an external HDD or what) Ummmm oh yeah and happy new years eve, still only 4:40PM where i am though

i dunno MS is weird like that, i guess they just wanted to make the Xbox seem unfillable or something, or maybe the HDD is compressed data and the Memory cards are uncompressed? Who knows... So I was right then?

I figured out what the problem is, my disc has a scratch all around the very outside of it, (Who put my disc in an xbox 360? lol) so im using DVD X Recover or w/e, thanks for teh help though

lol it has similar specs to the Dell Inspiron 3800 Laptop i have lying around (which i used to route internet to my Xbox and stuff through and router, and AIM and stuff, i still use it heh, should put linux on it)

Yeah but, The encryption on Xbox 360 discs is cracked, So cant you just rip a 360 game, edit the meta_id flag, and then burn a booting backup? or what about if you took like the meta_id or whatever files from this disc, deleted all the movies and stuff and replaced it with a game, like, you would boot this, and it would say like Click here to play Call Of Duty 2 Demo, but you delete all the Call Of Duty Files/everything else, and replace it with the files from a retail game

Okay so i usually download DVD images off bittorent (UMMM THAT WOULD BE LIKE MOVIES OF PEOPLE HAVING AMAZING MATCHES OF HALO 2 NOT ILLEGAL ONES DUHHH) and i burn them to DVDs, Now, my friend would like to see such amazing matches of Halo 2 for himself, Is there a good program to copy a DVDR to a DVDR? Nero gets a bunch of read errors and crap near the end and it takes like an entire day to rip an image, i think the same with Alcohol im not sure, so what should I use?

oh god....i see the xbox 360 failing for teh same reasons Dreamcast did now Somehow i saw this happening as soon as MS claimed it was hack proof So basically theres going to be something like this in the future (PURE PREDICTION) You know those programs that open a disc image and change its region? Well now we just rip a disc image and change its protection type....ha....this is great As soon as this becomes easy to do, Companies arent going to feel safe with the box anymore, not release games, etc. Maybe im overreacting....

Hey well i was sucking because Wario Sucks, im not that bad with Mario, and w00t Choco Mountain from the N64 is back!!! Yeah im using a Linksys WRT54GS, I have a Linksys BEFW11S4 too, but i use that just for sharing a wired connection into my Xbox/PS2/etc.

I went though all my saves and added every single block up with a calculator, and i just double checked it and i got the same number I have like 20+ CDs on my Xbox, So i know i have alot used...what if i have some weird xbox with a 40GB HDD? Ha or maybe just a glitch. I swear i remember reading somewhere that a block was only 16KB though. I think it was calculated by dividing the blocks in a 8MB memory card or something. and im just wondering how much space is left because id like to put as much music as possible on that thing and i wanna see how many more CDs worth i can put on there before i have to start getting picky about which ones are on there. oh and one more question, im going to be buying a modchip once i cash my check actually from a member of this board, Is there a way i can copy all the music and stuff from my old xbox HDD to my new Xbox HDD? Theres some stuff on there that has some sentimental value my girlfriend put on there (STFU lol im serious) or can i just leave my box open and switch HDDs whenever i want? Because id like to still have Live.

Yeah that too, i think i should get into teh habit of buying crappy 5-10 dollar keyboards and then just throwing them out when they get too dirty or full of chunks that dont let me press the keys down all the way Sometimes they have things on ebay where you get like 50 sets of keyboards/mice for cheap I dont really think you can get away with using a cheap mouse though...thats just me

WARNING-TAKING YOUR KEYBOARD APART IS A BAD IDEA!!! Making keyboards like that is a very old fashioned thing that is barely ever done anymore, be careful, i think it might be deliberate so people have to buy new keyboards but with alot of boards nowadays once you take the keys out they arent going back on...ESPECIALLY with laptops, i think ive come across one laptop on my time where the keys could go back on. I would just go through it with an air duster and a feather or q-tip or something and maybe tweezers for the big bits. Or just buy a brand new Saitek Eclipse board O_O Thats what im doing soon because im sick of cleaning out my old one. I found a dead earwig in it once. (If youve ever lived in michigan...yeah....instead of getting mice, you get earwigs there....gross..and everyone gets it, no avoiding it, there was even one in my gamecube)

Hey so yeah i got Mario Kart DS for christmas today (yay) well, actually my little brother did, but anyway, I dont really know how the whole online metting people is (Friend IDs? WTF?) But who wants to play me online in Mario Kart!?!!? I just enter friend IDs whenever i want to find people? I dunno i havent really messed with it too much, i just found the mac address, added it to my router, and ive been playing with random people.
