Theres no way its going to be as accurate as a mouse. There are TONS of games in arcades that use this techonology and sometimes take it even further by detecting your entire body movement, its REALLY not as good as it sounds, not because it doesnt work well detecting it right, but because its just not a very fun way to play games

That new Mario game for DS looks kickass though But again, its another one of those things, it doesnt really use the bottom screen for anything terribly important Ill prolly get it soon

I dont think alot of people here have been to the arcades in awhile. There is ALOT of stuff like this for teh arcades, Its fun, but at the same time, not really. Yeah Nintendo came up with the original Idea, and everyone else basically made their own revisions to nintendo's controller, But, its like now, they are really doing WAY more than is needed. I agree completley in them being TOO innovative. Sega took a chance with dreamcast making the VMUs, did they put a powerhouse color screen mega powerful gaming system in as a memory card? No they put something cheap, where if it didnt catch on it wouldnt really matter, whereas now, if this doesnt catch on, Nintendo is screwed because its the main point of their console. I'll give it a chance, but i dunno, Its kinda like DDR. Yeah DDR can be fun, but i dont always feel like hopping around like a retard, Just like i wont always feel like swinging a controller around like a retard.

i always thought it would be cool to have some kind of pinball machine controller, but a pinball game would get pretty boring after awhile lol, the real thing is much better. Another thing i thought of, is if you have to be swinging the controllers around to play this, arent there going to be alot of accidental injuries during multiplayer?

Honestly, if it wasnt for that shell thing they where talking about, The system just would NOT work for most modern games. Heres a mock up of what it might look like I think the entire RPG Genre has been taking a hit lately, someone needs to revolutionize it. I think the number 1 scene i will never forget in any video game is from Winback Winback!??! Im sorry but i just found it hilarious when this guy was talking to the main character and it went like this... Here! Take This! *camera zooms in on his fist* *main character bumps his fist into other persons fist and stares at it with a hilariously confusing look on his face* Whats this? Its C4 and Detonators! *main character puts fist against his back pocket and regrips gun* There was absolutley nothing in their hands the entire time, it was just so stupid it was funny.

While that may be true, and I respect them for it, Its not going to work here in teh states, people here are too stubborn. Importing games from Japan is the number 1 way to go i think, they are alot more open minded over there. And 2004/2005 have been dubbed years of teh sequels, I dunno whats up with that, but it does seem to be slowing down, im getting annoyed with it too. Except for teh Katamari Demacy Sequel, That is perfectly okay

im not too impressed with square.... But anyway, im not saying Nintendo is completley horrible, I think Nintendogs is fun too, Nintendo has ALOT of great games, i just think they are focusing on the wrong areas. I mean crap man, Im all for original games, My favorite console is the DREAMCAST for crying out loud, with games like Seaman and Rez!!! If THATS not original and a breath of fresh air I dont know what is! I just dont see how im going to get any game playing done with a motion sensing remote that has less than 5 buttons. Im sure they will come out with some fresh ideas, and it will work for awhile, but developers are just going to get sick of it after awhile and it will just become a pain in the ass. I mean, over half the DS games i have done really even use the bottom screen for anything terribly important. But when a game DOES use it, its pretty neat.

You know what, I finally figured out a way to explain why Nintendo has been screwing up so badly, starting with the Gamecube, then the DS, and now this and the gameboy micro, all in a simple catchphrase. "All Gimmick, No Game" hell, i support nintendo, but its the sad truth.

Wow.....This reminds me of how sometimes i play PS1 games on my PS2 with my DVD remote just because i can. If this is going to be anything like that (But there wont be lag i bet) its going to be horrible. This is just a total /fail on nintendo's part, The current controllers just dont have enough buttons, they work for most games, but on some games you can REALLY tell how they needed more buttons, This is the complete opposite of what they should be doing.

Nintendo, While i see their points, and they are some valid points....*shakes head*....its just not going to work. Im not giving up in them, they just need to go back to the way they where, and use some smarter tactics than this, Im not going to buy a game just because mario is in it, im going to buy a game because its a good game.

I really wanted a PSP, but I lost interest because i knew i would never get the money But this game is Now almost forcing me to get one, I will buy a PSP very soon just for this. AKA Yes, its going to be very good!

arent those pics still being rendered on PS2 hardware or something like that? I heard that the pics going around now where of MGS4 being rendered on PS2 hardware as stills so it would look better, but the shots of it being Live Rendered on PS3 would be released in like a month or so. And yes, David Hayter needs to come back. (BTW, no one seems to mention this, but in MGS Solid Snake reveals his real name to be David, like David Hayter, his voice actor, In MGS2 I could be wrong but im pretty sure he never reveals it, and in MGS3, as soon as i heard him reveal his name and it wasnt David, wayyyy early in the game, i was 100% sure it wasnt really solid snake, that was just another tipoff for me, not sure if it was intentional though)

I traded my Saturn v1 for an unopened Genesis and I still have my Saturn v2 Its Facking hard to find games for though

Hopefully they wont screw it up like that ToeJam and Earl 3 game, I play it anyway because im a fan though, doesnt really have that classic genesis "radness" anymore though. I'm looking foward to this alot, w00t w00t!!! (Im also pissed sega killed the new Altered Beast and VECTORMAN games, VECTORMAN IS GOD!!!)
