My PDA always asks for a password to get into the HDD of my home PC when its on the network, but i dont have a password/user, so if i type in nothing then it gets in fine. and i just dont want to break the Xbox i have hehe

I also hate iPods, I dont know what came over me for a minute there. I can buy a 40GB Archos player for the price of a 4GB Nano, and an archos player plays movies and some have built in cameras and things now!

you think that might fix it? Ill have to try it. I heard when you do ICS though your supposed to start at 192.168.0.25 and then go up by 5s for each computer on the shared connection. Dunno if thats true or not, because i heard it from Linksys. They have really nice products, but they have the worst tech support ever....

uhh, i think i didnt explain myself properly, im talking about buying the one from ms, i dont think im going to mod my xbox. i know alot aabout networking so i can do that part. I just didnt know if it was actually going to check for media center edition. Heres where it gets complicated, My xbox is connected to my laptop which has a wireless PCMCIA card so it can connect to Xbox Live and such. Now i have to get my Xbox to connect through my laptop and into my PC Which also has a wireless card to get my media. I have no idea what kind of features are in the Media center edition GUI, but i hope it has the right ones to get this to work.

Okay so i heard that i can play all my divX movies and stuff over my network with xbox media center. Is this true? and also, Do i NEED a PC with Windows XP media Center edition? All i have is XP, cant i just use that?

And Direct Connect seems to have fallen apart too because the only people with anything good are admins who refuse to open slots for anyone. Postal 2, and Medal Of Honor Allied Assault+expansions, PLEASE. Thats ALL i'll need to hold me over for LAN gaming and stuff. (The main reason i was asking for this was so i could play multiplayer games with my other PC, which is alot better)

Yes, definatly, VC has the best music in all of them. I think the music in SA is terrible. not as bad as 3 though, and WHY is it that in the xbox version the custom soundtracks are on random?!?!? WHYYYYY!?!??!!? IT MAKES NO SENSE!!!! I mean, it goes from gangsta rap and Def Leppard and stuff randomly to a CD my girlfriend burned which has music that doesnt fit well into a GTA game at all!!! (Jess if your reading this im not making fun of your CD, It just doesnt go well with driving around and killing people, now please dont kill me!!!)

Im going to go in front of the Sega Headquarters and rip my shirt off and with a knife carve DC2 in my chest and bleed all over the sidewalk screaming and foaming out the mouth untill i eventually die/get shot by someone/get thrown into the looney van. Then maybe they will listen.....

yeah thats what i mean, like i understand how it was important to the genre, i really liked it when it first came out, but its so dated compared to the other ones now.
