Yay so i have this little 3.5 inch (Im guessing) LCD screen. What should i mount it into? an NES? The side of my PC for some weird mini monitor? Make a portable (maybe too much work)? hmmmm the possibilities. Then i thought of putting it in a box with some RCA adapter things and some batteries and having a mini portable monitor.

yeah i came across some UXE stuff. Wasnt sure if it was the same though. Right now im thinking some random Emus/DivX playing thingy/GTA:SA on the HDD, but ill probably keep wanting more and more hehe and finally crack it open. If someone could walk me through this sometime that would be sweet because i have no idea what im doing hehe. Ive opened a friend's xbox and we put a chip in and swapped some hardware but he did all the stuff so thats really the extent of my knowledge.

yeah i can get the games easily, ebay/salvation army/some gamestops still have them. Woohoo time for some gamehunting (I already have a bunch but i need MORE! bwahahaha!)

I dont know much about burning DVDs because i dont have a DVD burner Ive been waiting for DL to come out and now im waiting for money hehe.

yep, Cars like that are reeeeealy dumb. I can see if you have a sweet paint job, like ACTUALLY sweet, and not some crap done with spray cans. Like just colors, MAYBE a small design. But nothing else. Ill even let you get away with a system, IF you have it designed right, which ive yet to see anyone do, everyone just goes out and buys the biggest subwoofers they can afford and the most powerfull amp they can afford. Stupid. Your supposed to look at the sound frequencies and try and get everything from 20Hz to 20,000 kHz covered by some speaker or another. Everything ive heard is like 20Hz to 1,500 kHz. Which is pretty much just bass with a tiny bit of treble. Music isnt supposed to sound like that. Its just dumb.

i just cant wait for that sweet emu service and with nintendo thinking no one has the internet it will probably work with dialup because they think thats what most people have if they have it at all heh. yay! Although im getting cable when i move (BTW my house finally sold)

I was going to post how i fit an NES into the case of an old broken DVD player but i dont feel worthy anymore Pretty awesome though i love portable mods, if i had money for all those PS1 screen thingies i would try it.

I pretty much agree with all of you, i was just seeing if i could find a single person that liked it lmao i liked how someone said they would rather watch the house of the dead movie, now THAT Is a powerful statement. I think the only one more powerful would be wanting to watch the street fighter movies

the systems themselves are cheap already hehe Im guessing the ribbon cable came out/is worn out. But id have to look at it, theres a few easy fixes that might fix it.

i think twice (Might have only been once, i dont remember clearly) i had to push it closed now...grrrr Whats the most up to date site that has softmodding stuff? I really only want to copy one game to it so i guess the HDD i have now is fine, and DivX playback and stuff would be nice because i have ALOT of burned DivX movies.

And you said it didnt work with DVD+/-R/RW...wouldnt that mean pretty much every recordable DVD besides DVD-RAM doesnt work? My xbox isnt modded and it reads DVD+/-R, DVD+/-RW, CD-R, CD-RW media. And for burned DVDs. I have a lot of burned DVDs that dont have menus (Getting movies to fit on non dual layer discs, i havent tried anything dual layer yet, has anyone else?) that play fine. Havent tried DVD-RAM because i still dont even really know what its used for anymore. I should try burning DVD format video on a CD-R and seeing if it plays. (although i doubt it will)

i would never put any of them in storage, i have lots of splitters and such where I have all my systems hooked up at once All without using yucky RF adaptors....ewwww..... No HDTV though

Theres no real drive that can read GD-ROMs on your PC well. I went out and bought one of those Yamaha drives that can supposedly read them, and it doesnt really work, it knows a disc is in, but its just that 20 meg space that some games have background images/the audio that says this disc is for sega dreamcast/etc.

I think i mentioned how to fix that in my GD-ROM guide, or one of them, its this set of prongs on the PSU that you have to squeeze together with pliers actually. (and its really like 5 or 6 prongs but only two of them effect this)

Bleem beta actually works REALLY well, in some cases it plays a PSX game better than a PS2. (actually in alot of cases if your just looking at graphics) but anyway, the only major downfall is it caches so much so fast that if your disc your emu-ing has scratches it really effects it alot.

i got a Dreamcast that worked for 1 dollar before, so meh Anyway, Open up your Dreamcast (follow my GD-ROM guide on how to do that) and take a picture of the inside (with the Drive facing up) and ill look and see if anything is disconnected or worn or whatever.

Yay! So basically i went to a garage sale, and they had an NES for 2 dollars so i was like OMG and then i realized it was still in the box and i was like OMFG!!! and then i opened the box and realized everything was still in the wrappers and it had never been opened and i was like OMFGWTFBBQ!!!!! Its the NES Action set BTW. Ive been playing tons of NES recently....on an actual NES. That disc i made for my dreamcast is still sweet though.... BTW if anyone wants to sell me their Smash TV or River City Ransom cart (haha fat chance) that would be awesome.

well it hasnt done anything weird since those two times, and ive been playing it alot recently. Id like to not void my warrenty just yet (or is it over?) but im going to mod it eventually so meh.

you know, at first i was worried, but i know rockstar will pull through this, and GTA games will keep coming out. Another boost of confidence? They wanted to flock with EA...BWAHAHAHAHA.....Now, as much as i....well i just dont like EA very much....EA is a HUGE company, They said the Sims contained nudity under the blurs....they are screweeeeeeed haha. I cant wait till they screw with Microsoft and they say that if you discolor the My Computer icon in the right way you can see a censor or something rediculous like that. They are going wayyyyyyyyyyyy too far.
