This game may be the best reason for me to finally break down and buy a PS2. Hopefully the gameplay matches the quality of the graphics.

I wondered about the size(dimension-wise, and kb) myself. I might see if I can't shrink it down a bit this evening. As for the background, I actually used a negative image of a fire background, which I thought made the two upper layers stand out more. Thanks for your inputs, guys! EDIT: OK, it's now 300x100 pixels(18kb), down from 344x202(46kb) - a bit more 56k friendly. I re-did it in Photoshop this time, tinkering with the name part a little, and doing a bit of cropping.

What's the difference between Gens and Gens32? I thought they were the same, then I noticed I have Gens 2.12

Yeah, that was a good fun tourney. Thought I might have a chance to rematch Sturm in the finals, then saw Diso got a 12. I'll play whatever tourneys come up, I really don't have a preference.

Well, if it works, kudos to M$ for taking the gamble. I really don't see it hurting the opening sales of the PS3 very much, though. I think if someone has their money set aside for a PS3, at that time, they're going to be more likely to go ahead and buy it, and wait a bit on Halo 3. Of course, that only goes for those fortunate enough to be able to afford both systems. Me, I'm still content with my PSX.

They need to make sure they focus on the mainstream gamer foremost. If they try and make alot of sweeping changes and such, then it's going to probably lead to disaster. Granted, most gamers like new technological advances in a new system, but there can be too much. I haven't been a strong supporter of Nintendo since the SNES days, and with their track record of late, exception being the GBA, I see them trailing Sony and Microshaft for good.
