  1. Two new releases for Nintendo-64 emulation! Project 64 1.6 has an updated games list, beta 10. »» Official Site »» Download it Now! [1Emulation Server] Glide64 has been upgraded to v0.8; it is a graphics plugin for N64 emulators such as Project64, 1964 and Mupen64. It uses the 3dfx Glide3x API, and it supports many games. If you don't have a 3dfx card, you can use a Glide Wrapper. »» Official Site »» Download it Now! 2. During the week, Pete released a bunch of new GPU plugins to improve the performance of various PSX emulators. As mentioned above, there are a number of new Pixel Shaders available. You can get them here. »» Official Site »» OpenGL GPU plugin »» Windows GPU plugin »» Soft GPU plugin [1Emulation Server] Credits: News - Files - Changelog (thanks to NGemu) Aldo has updated his Plugins Pack, which contains over 90 plugins in one file.
  3. see you called it silly and you suicided on Mic. What are you loading? would be the best question. To see what works, read my thread "Dualis 9 testing".
  4. Found this on a certain rom site...ESA has protected 7 more titles. They are: Brute Force Final Fantasy Metroid Oddworld Tekken Ultimate Fighting Championship Wario If you were planning to get any of these from your favourite rom site, better get in quick!
  5. Recently someone released DOOM for the PSP. By changing WADs you can play DOOM2, Final Doom, and a few others as well. You NEED a joystick, the keyboard doesn't work. I tried it on PSPE, the attract mode appears, press F1 or F2 (can't remeber which) and the menu appears. After that nothing much worked. I somehow got the game to start once, and the player started going in circles, probably because I don't have a joystick. Pressing W brought up the map. Others have reportedly got it going (on a real PSP) but with problems 1. Freezes at start 2. Select another weapon, then pistol - it starts shooting nonstop. 3. Freezes at level 4. and others...
  6. or "Surgical Procedures for Dummies"
  7. When you get it, and familiarise yourself with it, post a review.
  8. That stuff on psphacker makes good reading. Some people did corrupt the USB stick, or their USB port died, but most seem to have got it worked out. You've got 5 seconds to swap, so there's no need to rush. The funny thing was, as soon as it was announced, Sony brought out 1.52 to counter it. One person gave a method of getting it working on 1.51, but it may have been a fake. Sony's attitude puzzles me. They say it's to stop piracy, but if a pirate can one day perfectly duplicate the UMD then it's gonna work anyway. All it does it make it difficult to homebrew, which seems to indicate that Sony wants to dictate what YOU do with YOUR psp, which SUX.
  9. Start, Run, type in REGEDIT click OK.
  10. Happy 19th Birthday Magnis. A good day to get drunk!!

  17. I notice some of the latest homebrews have been overclocking the processor, instead of 222mhz they can run it at 333mhz
  18. Another way, is you find a rom site (almost any rom site). They will have links and/or affiliates. Click on these, and their links, etc. Eventually you will find stuff that google never will.
  19. Interesting thread there Cinder. Adjusting the laser power can be tricky that's for sure. I notice some people said that leaving the cover off improved things?? If you're handy with a soldering iron you could mount a pot on the front panel where you can get to it easily.
  20. is plural? The German bit at the bottom when translated says "This Game was not published officially by SNK = Bootleg" I wonder if it's playable, not some ebay ripoff.
  21. That was pretty quick! Mic, how did you go with the IRQ / timer issue?
  22. Looks like BSNES v007 had a major problem, version v007a has just been released to fix it. Here's what Byuu had to say: The new version is available on the link in the first post.

  24. Someone else has released a very modified mame 0.71 for the PSP. The menu displays 7 games. Unfortunately only one of them works, "Mr Do!", the rest stopping at test screens or nothing. It works in PSPE. The keys in the rom selector are the standard ones: arrow up and down to choose, D to select. The keys in Mr Do are: F1 - Start game LShift - config menu RShift - pause S = esc W = fire arrow keys = move
