Looks like you are using Pete's GPU plugin. I have never used epsxe, but I'd expect you should be able to change what plugins are being used (or none). -

I've got McAfee VirusScan Enterprise 7 (free from work with unlimited automatic updates). It has done a good job and I can't complain (since it is free).

I've been using ZoneAlarm, and while it has stopped a sh!tload of intrusions, it's not without its problems either. Particularly its habit of modifying javascript, and blocking certain cookies - even when you tell it not to. For example havoc forum and zone alarm do not get on at all.
