It's a very slow page and the download took forever at 447 bytes per sec. The whole thing including the changelog is all in Russian. R.Belmont says it works as intended. It was originally released on or near 19/dec/05, I found this thread about it.

Yeah perhaps it time to close it. Thanks Madlax for the info. You can use Kawaks for slow pc's. My pc goes fast enough for mame, the neogeo games can run 400fps when unthrottled.

I tested this 5.3 and I have to say it's not really much of an advance. The text is all in Spanish (or Portugese?), and cannot be changed. It crashes or hangs occasionally. Ghostlop doesn't work (works only in 4.. Diggerman doesn't work (never has in NRX). The new games aren't that "new", they just weren't in the main list before. And a rather annoying bug, I've set the volume to full in the settings (it gets remembered), but it is ignored, you start a game and it's at 80% volume, I need to press 6 twice to get to 100%. Then restart NRX and it's back to 80% - even though the audio menu says its 100%. About the .ini file, I just clicked the middle button (DETECT), and it brought my games in just fine. No need for messy manual updating. I'm at a loss to understand your problem. KOF2003 appears in the main list and works but no transparencies. The only games that appear at the bottom are: Chaos demo (works) Lost Temple of RA (works) kof2004hero (doesn't work)

Yes it's a problem I encounter at least once a day, when the entire server just freezes up for about 5 minutes or so. Been like that for a few months now.

The bug is BitComet's ignorance of the privacy flag. What it means is that let's say a tracker site releases a torrent, and they only want that torrent used with their tracker, they set on the privacy flag. That stops operators of a rival tracker from stealing the torrent and using it as their own. It also stops non-members leaching off the legitimate torrent. BitComet ignores all that. The problem with non-members is that the tracker doesn't credit you if you allow uploads to a non-member. So I had to kick and ban any BitComet 0.59/0.60 users. Not all clients allow banning, luckily Azureus does. Now it doesn't matter, because the tracker has been modified to ban them.

I wish you success with it and the aims you have planned. About the flash, to me it's a turn-off. Dark, sombre colours, slow loading and execution time is bad. (took nearly a minute to load).

BitComet is a Bit Torrent client. Many sites have banned BitComet recently due to a major bug. If you want to enter the BitTorrent world, you could use Azureus, Shareaza, ABC or utorrent. You will need to find the home page of one of those, download and install the client. Azureus uses Java which can cause trouble on some computers, although it works fine for me. BitTorrent also requires that after you've completed your download, you let others leech off you for a while. It's a good system as long as you give back what you took.
