I regard the internet something like a road. Anyone can drive anywhere on a road, and the authority that manages roads is not required to decide who can drive where. That is up to the police. ISPs are just like the road authority. They provide the service, and should not have to decide who can do what. Again, that should be a police matter. The British authorities, in cahoots with their American masters, are going too far.

Why is everyone so weird? Why does GC concern himself with the marital status of others? It's annoying. I'm obsessed with my privacy. I won't join up with anything for fear my details will land in the wrong hands or i'll be flooded with spam. No credit card because I didn't feel like providing pages full of details that the bank could find out anyway. All my old bills and anything old with my name on it will get burnt, rather than go in the bin for others to find and misuse. My phone number is silent, so i don't get pestered with lamers trying to sell me stuff at dinner time. And as for dogs and cats, I would never ever own a dog, they sh!t everywhere, are incapable of keeping clean, and get bored easily and make a nuisance of themselves. Yet, I can walk onto someone's property, and the dog there will immediately be friends with me and the owner will be totally amazed. I can corrupt a dog with one touch. So, I have 2 cats. They look after themselves, are clean and disappear most of the time to do whatever it is that uncut male cats do. And I like rain.

Internet is too slow to download anything, and cable is too expensive, never even bothered getting it connected. I only watch 2 or 3 shows a week, TV is mostly rubbish these days anyway. So I have one of those coily antennas on top of my VCR. (Yes, a VCR).

Even though it says its running at 100%, you are right, it seems to go in slow motion sometimes, and you can't even fight. It's not reported at mametesters, and I can't imagine it was really like that. All I can suggest is to run it unthrottled, I was at least able to get past the first screen by doing that.
