  1. Oregon and Washington (each has different rules).
  2. Stating and interferring are two different things. You can go around state your opinion about anything in this world all you want but when you mentally or physically interfere with people's lives is a whole different story. I don't think anyone understood what I previously wrote. Not even once did my entries on the subject interfere with any lives. If you interpreted it that way, I'm sorry. People are going to go by their own personal experiences and take that at face value. You're one of those people who smoke for pleasure and don't see anything wrong with it because it doesn't affect you as I described. But not everyone is you. And what I had written is pure truth from scientific research and not just from my personal opinion.

  5. Want to give more detail as to why? I'm kind of in the middle. I believe people should do what they consider is best for themselves but I also take into consideration that a lot of people aren't in a right state of mind when they are dying. Depending on the cause, some would be dealing with pain at extreme levels and just want to get it over with but still have a chance of being cured or at least given alternatives to dealing with it. Well I don't love it. This is an incredibly touchy subject in the medical world. I pretty much feel the same way you do on this issue. If someone is very sick and in great pain they should be able to do what they want to feel better, even if it means ending their life. Patients can refuse any kind of treatment and just ask for pain killers that make the pain go away when they die but they can't ask a doctor to give them something that will kill them faster. Should doctors be able to do that? I don't think they should. I think they should make the remaining life as painless as possible and that's done through services like hospice. It's all very complex and my brain is too scattered right now to talk in any length about anything serious. Yeah like I said, it's a bit hard for me to be standing firm with yes or no. My mother worked in hospice...I've heard such sad stories of how these people just waiting to die were the sweetest, funniest and cheerful people she had ever met. I remember going to her job when I was younger and there was this old man who was basically ignored by his family. He was a marine biologist who wrote childrens books. I grew really fond of him and he died holding my hand. Through all the pain he was going through and the neglect from his family, that man still had a reason to live his life to the fullest. He was brave. I guess that's why I'm so indecisive about the whole thing.
  6. Nice kicks. ^^ heh..I like the cheeky grin.
  7. Sorry I didn't put it in the lounge. I didn't know if the certain topics I mention in that thread would cause offense or arguments with everyone else. Maybe I should ask first next time.
  8. True. I find it responsible to give thorough instructions in case something like that would occur. I wouldn't want to place a loved one under such a horrible terrifying decision.
  9. Check you out! Long hair on guys= http://i252.photobucket.com/albums/hh23/th...SCN0254copy.jpg
  10. It looks tasty! I dearly hope it's better than XII. From what I've seen, it's pretty badass.
  11. I sowwy to hear about that. I've had some serious issues with sleep the past few months. Been too edgy with all the stress hovering about me. I just hang out on the PC doing online class assignments and playing games until the wee hours of the morning and take a little nap before my kid wakes up.
  12. YES! My jedi skills have improved! I now have mastered mind control!!!! With the help of Inky of course. My powers aren't complete without him.
  13. Phew, so you just have a lactose intolerance, that's ok. Them vegans are crazy though. Vegetarians I can tolerate, but vegans are whack-jobs with no higher reasoning skills. OH I agree! I worked with some chicks who decided to make a pact and become vegans. Then suddenly, they were all high and mighty and didn't really lose weight. One went to the hospital! Then they decided to join PETA. Two were fired from their job for passing out flyers and causing protests at the workplace. After that, they went to the local paper. They're ridiculous.
  14. True. I don't know. I guess it's just a vicious emotional and moral cycle for me to actually take a stand either way.
  15. hahahah nooo...I'm nowhere near a vegan. I love meat. I'm not able to drink whole cow milk (even though I do it anyway). Had an organ of mine removed and was advised not to drink that stuff. It's too good but for a while, I had soy milk which isn't tooooo bad but..not preferable.
  16. Nice. Bored people who call themselves detectives FTW!
  17. I've actually used Silk chocolate soy milk for it. It was so grotesque!!!!! A bit odd considering I like fries in chocolate ice cream...
  18. I agree that if it's time to go, it's time to go. But actually telling yourself it's time to go when you're still alive and there's a chance to keep on living, I don't see why it's worth giving it up. That's just me. I have seen family members slowly dying from cancer, going through treatments and taking loads of medicines that make them literally sick to the point of not being able to move. I have seen the suffering before they die but they still lived every second they had left loving and enjoying what time they had with loved ones. In MY opinion (MY meaning you can think differently without being insulting about it), I wouldn't just say "kill me now" because I'm leaving life in a way I didn't want to. Everyone wants to die peacefully but it just doesn't happen that way. If people take these medicines knowing that it will never cure the disease and knowing they would eventually die from it, it's saying that they still find more life to live. I guess I just don't like the fact of people giving up.

  20. What do you guys think about assisted suicide?
  21. Well..the bright side is that they get paid crap. I guess.. Idiocy=
  22. I haven't been around that long but..sheesh! Who cares people?! Seriously, words are words...especially when they're read from a monitor. Let's get over this shall we? Both parties have contributed good works. Why stop? Think happy thoughts.
  23. Again guys, you can take what I said as controlling or in a know-it-all attitude. That was not my intent. Everything I stated was taken from research and personal experiences and to me, those are facts. As I said, agree to disagree. If you want to do dope and be proud of it, that's your perogative. Doesn't mean I have to support it. You can if you want. I don't judge people for smoking that crap but I can say if I think it's wrong. I think some people will have to get over that.
