  1. How well do you know this girl? If it's just an associate you've been interested in, I'd say just wait a few days and then call for conversations sake only to give more of an opportunity to get to know each other. It really depends on what kind of relationship you want to have with this person. If you wanna have a "real" one, be passive at the beginning then show more interest little by little. The reason why she would act different on certain days would most likely be because she's testing you out. I can't say what kind of relationship she's after but usually girls that act all flirty and nice then act reserved means that they're waiting for some sign of significant interest. Show it by calling a couple days after receiving the number and get a feel of who she is and what she's about and go from there.
  2. I <3 Smashing Pumpkins. Don't think this is better than the original but a good attempt.
  3. I've seen some pretty awesome Ben Folds Five covers.
  4. There's this moron from BK... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a1iyN7Y-jJQ
  5. not that funny but it shows now that they got the fame they wanted.
  6. Yeah, so many people think I'm crazy but I absolutely loved the feel of the 64 controllers. I really dislike the GC. Maybe it's because I have fat fingers...who knows? It's not my preferred choice. I'm like Will, gimme a PS controller any day and I'm slick as a brick. I also agree with Rag about Nintendo always coming out with unique designs. That's how the folks at Nintendo are..they're always trying out new concepts and I have to admire them for that but I would like to smack the ones who said "This controller works awesome! Let's put these in the market along with the console!" I'm sure they could have formatted a better style controller than what they have. I have never heard anyone (excluding what I've read here) say they like the GC pad. But, everyone has preferences and I will say that I would rather use the GC controller than a Saturn...uck.
  7. Subject has nothing whatsoever to do with this entry. I just didn't know what to put up there. Nothing momentous has happened in my life as of late so what I put here this evening is nothing profound. I've been writing much lately notating various ideas for two different stories and writing a thesis on something theological. I tried working on some music today but it's extremely difficult with a kid running about. I also have two teenage brothers living here with me and they fight constantly so I never really get any peace in my own home. Ah..such is life. I had read something disturbing in the news but don't remember now. By this time at night, my brain slowly shuts down certain chambers and I become somewhat vegetated. My husband has picked up his pad and pencil and started on his drawings again. I'm glad...although his weekends go by so quickly, he only takes maybe two hours of his whole weekend to jot down ideas or begin sketches. I feel bad for him. He works constantly and hardly gets to Autumn (our daughter). Hopefully, I will be able to assist with the finances. I had taken my mother to her doctor's appointment for a breathing test and lo! They are hiring for pulmonary techs part-time for $10/hr! It was the assistant director who I talked to about it. She was trained within a week to do what she had done for my mother. The tech bolted without notice. She seemed to like my attitude and personality. It was funny how it popped up in our conversation. My mother was telling her about how it's been hard waiting for disability to kick in and that she was thinking about just dropping it and finding a mediocre job somewhere. It made me frustrated so I exclaimed my "concerns" on how a lot of people who work for the government or any other occupation, take advantage of their job or are absolutely CLUELESS on how to do their job. Yet the highly motivated and intelligent folks are unable to get a job. She seemed to like my protest...sooo I have to send my resume this coming Monday and see what happens. The most extreme happy part is that you don't have to have medical experience. It's also one of those jobs that you have to consider as a "career" and not "employment". I can see myself doing this for a long time. Anyway, I hope that her being the assistant director would help me in the door a bit. We'll see.. I'm having some difficulty on deciding what to take for college. I have so many interests and so little money. If I am able to get this job, I'm sure that I will stick with it but I also want to broaden my education and do something that actually means more to me. Whether it be theology, music, writing, some form of art or history, those are the things that interest me the most. I am limited....we hardly have any financial stability and with having our precious girl, we're trying to make sure her future is somewhat secure. I mean, I know right now would be the most opportune time to get things done that way both parents would bring in more money but sometimes, it's hard to get the partner on the same page. ESPECIALLY when they're the moneymaker. I'm going on 25 and I still don't know what I want to do for myself. I like being a stay at home mom but sometimes I feel brain dead. I need brain food. I'm going to go smoke now. Yeah...I talked about quitting but it's just impossible at this present time. I have a doctor's appt. coming up soon so maybe I can ask about that prescription that I read about in the forum. I need to lose some weight too. I'm a fatty. I want to be here as long as possible and watch my family grow. I'm boring.
  8. Yeah I agree (especially about the AC/DC concert). I mean, I personally believe that using a gun is showing a bit of cowardice. It takes anyone to simply wiggle a finger and shoot a gun. If I'm going to have the gumption to take someone's life, I'm going to make it more honorable. Yes...honorable. Doesn't exist much this day in age but I think if you're going to kill, you should put a bit more effort than pulling a trigger. Of course, using a gun on someone who has a gun would make sense. I can't see myself running and stabbing them with a sword before taking a few bullets. A bow & arrow would be more efficient only if I was able to shoot from a place I wasn't seen.
  9. Yea... options. Anyway I just found this... interesting page. heh http://wiki.urbandead.com/index.php/Sugges...of_Shotgun_Ammo Wow...I didn't know there were that many types of ammo for one gun. I dig the Dragons breath rounds. I could see myself having wayyyyy too much fun with that. Heh...I'm somewhat of a pyro.
  10. I wish I had x360. PS3 guys, send me a msg or something so we can brawl.
  11. But I'm too tired to ramble. I'll post something a bit more interesting later...
  12. IN Florida, we have signs posted everywhere as a reminder for tourists that "Florida shoots first!" I'm not big into guns. I'm still thinking about getting a shotgun though. Things are too crazy. I would only get a shotgun though. I like the whole balls to the walls ordeal. I highly doubt people would want to come up on my property and threaten myself or family with a huge barrel between the eyes. I don't mind getting a bit messy. I shot a gun once and it was on accident. It was a 22 and I thought it was a toy. It ricochet and when the cops showed up, the bullet was 2 feet to the right from where I was standing. (I was only 9 and it was at a drive-thru convenience store. I was friends with the owner's daughter.)
  13. I agree with pretty much everything you said. Sybarite Paladin AxL, As for us being F*d if we didn't have oil, I'm sure you're right. The brainless ones who fully depend on such things won't make it. Though, if we go back to the good ol' days of doing sh*t ourselves, EVERYONE would have some kind of job, EVERYONE would have something of their own (that they wouldn't have to pay for the rest of their whole lives), and EVERYONE would be too busy working their ass off sun up to sun down to provide for themselves. I don't mind going back to living off the land so if that's what it takes, I'm all for it!
  14. It depends on what precisely is meant by the term “ghosts.” If the term means “spirit beings,” the answer is a qualified yes. If the term means “spirits of people who have died,” the answer is no. “…man is destined to die once, and after that to face judgment.” The closest biblical example of a “haunting” is found in Matthew 5:1-20. A “legion” of demons possessed a man and used the man to “haunt” a graveyard. There were no “ghosts” involved. It was a case of a normal person being controlled by demons to terrorize the people of that area. What happens is, demons parade themselves around like they're good "ghosts" and open up the curiosity we all have as human beings. We go to things we should stay away from to seek answers and we end up dealing with things we never thought preparing ourselves for. I not only speak for myself but for lots of people whose stories I have heard that were similar to mine. I don't believe that the human spirit is here on earth when they die.
  15. People like that make me want to go on a punch everyone in the eye spree....
  16. I think it's a joke. It's the government's used up excuse of trying to appease us to get what they're really after. If we were to retaliate the ones who were responsible, things would have been much easier.
  17. Alright. So pretty much all of us have the same view on that subject. What about the "War on terrorism"?
  18. For sure Shoma! Never was a big Vega fan...always seemed a bit homo to me.
  19. You can pretty much beat anyone with Blanka...in a cheap way.

  21. I haven't been able to find ANYTHING. Perhaps my resources are limited but I really dislike the controllers for the GC.
  22. No it's between patient and doctor. Either by euthanasia, starvation or dehydration.
