  1. xbc and a $10 headset from gamestop bumps it up to $160
  2. ps2 $150 network adapter $40 HDD $99 = $290 xbox $150 network adapter $0 HDD $0 = $150 that's an extra $140 bucks just to catch up to the xbox's included features. at this stage in the game the xbox is the only real choice, unless you are a final fantasy fanboy. then get a ps2 so you can go watch charley's angels and play ffx2 all day. heheh case closed.
  3. it's not hard. I think it should be the law that everyone learns to drive a manual tranny first. it requires more focus, I think it would help young drivers to learn that driving requires your attention. not the radio, cell phone, friends ect. inturn lowering new driver accidents. so how are people supposed to do drive bys? that's what the passengers are for.

  5. it still feels alittle wierd but I am used to it now. and am dragon punching my way to victory at every turn. heheh. I may slap a compitition stick in one of them just to see the difference. it'll be a few weeks before I do anything like that tho.
  6. got the reciept? if so the store in your city will take it back. if they wanna mess around just get pushy. I usually don't mess with those 3rd party mem cards. especialy the ones that compress saves for more space. just get an offical sega vmu.
  7. I got a thompson. it reads every dvd-r I throw at it. no cd-r at all but memorex cd-rw works well. I don't care anyways cuz if it is small enough to fit on a cd-rw then I just ftp it to my hdd.
  8. yeah thats totally true. so far I am happy with the sticks. and I feel I already got my money out of them. (whoopin' my friends all day with these has been worth it. shut them "I can't play with this pad" fools right up!) so yeah I know what your saying. I wasn't expecting super quality in the first place. but I was pleasantly surprised. the competition sticks from happ are going for 14.00 right now so it's no big deal if I have to replace them.
  9. editid my post out cuz Vermillion answered before I was done with my post.. and said basicly the same thing. I'll just add to check the tutorials and forum at xbox-scene.com most every thing you kneed to know is there. and that you can't get hacked emulators kawa-hex, n3oghost's fbax from the usual places.
  10. had an 88 audi quattro that was stolen from infront of my house. that car was bad a$$. the ford f-150 is on the list. I was a 2000 and wished it would get stolen everyday. heheheh. never did. I even left the keys in it at the mall in the ghetto. finally I got out from under that rock. gave that piece o' crap back to the dealer.
  11. I had one of those blaze twin sticks for the ps1 many years ago. i got it for about 30 bucks. it did the job but didn't last too long. Xx1LLMAT1CxX have you used the redoctane sticks? and replaced the stock stick with one from Happ? I was already thinking of this but haven't cracked teh case to see how everything is connected inside. I noticed happ has alot of different sticks. which do you recommend? besides the 40 dollar optical ones. heheh
  12. yeah the pelican was what I was originally gonna get. but the price was alittle high. I got 2 of the reddoctane sticks shipped for what a pelican costs. I'm happy.
  13. is it worth the fee? and the download looks a little mighty for my pitiful connection. oh well.
  14. yeah the modchip is gonna be better, no swapping ect. but if you don't wanna solder or open your ps2 (void the warrenty) the swapmagic discs and a slide card a good alternative. I haven't run across any games that don't work with swapmagic yet.
  15. the only mmorpg I'm remotely interested in is worlds of warcraft. the animatrix was kool. I liked it. I haven't seen teh final matrix movie yet.
  16. scary movie 1 & 2 were kool, I didn't like the last one with a different cast. anyone see Wrong Turn, that movies kinda kool. in a deliverance sorta way.
  17. well you can play isos online, if they have system link. use xbconnect.
  18. 98se is the better of the two i think. i had 2k for a while but didn't like it. no dos, driver issues stuff like that bugged me.
  19. solderless isn't so bad, I've had a solderless matrix for a year and a half and it's only come out of alignment once, after a car ride, until recently sometimes it doesn't boot the bios and I have to give it a tap to get it to boot the bios. I figure I can fix that easy, open it up clean the contacts and realign it.
  20. more from xbox-scene. looks like the first qoute was a bogus wire.
  21. you'd figure that one of those test boards would get into a rom dumpers hands................ much like thrill kill for the PS1
  22. that is tough, either street fighter 3: third strike or morrowind. I dunno. morrowind would prolly be the wiser choice.
  23. exactly. I took the whole "capcom all-stars" thing really hard, I mean damn they already had boards in test arcades,..........I don't want to be hurt again.............
  24. I will wet my pants when/if sf4 comes out. then I'll take that opportunity to wear cool depends brand diapers. or some piratesqe pantalones. no one is a bigger capcom mark then I am. but going off what some dude in a forum says just isn't smart.
  25. And saying that Street Fighter 4 is in production is like saying Power Stone 4 is in production someone told me on another forum that powerstone 4 IS in production. and he would know so it is true! some yahoo in a forum can say whatever they want and do thier homework and sound like they know what they are talking about but it's all just crap. did this guy in the snk-capcom forum know about the sf3/SFAnniversary bundle before it was officially announced by capcom? prolly not. Well he knows ppl who frequent the Capcom of Japan offices n employees have been quoted saying they've been working in pre-production stuff. Capcom has also published a book called 'SF Eternal Challenge' saying their next game will be released in 2007/08. Of course most of the ppl here only view this as just ranting speculation on TAS' part, but I think otherwise. 'It's all just crap', oh well, that's fine. do you have any idea how much can change between now and 2008?! lets say this tas fellow knows what he's talking about, he went to the school of capcom and got his bachalors in capcomolegy. in four years anything could happen, I'm sure capcom didn't know 4 years ago it would close it's coin-op devision. go find your self a "duke nukum-ologist" and ask what can go wrong in 4 years.
