so my dsl is up and it comes with newsgroups. my old dial up didn't. but I have no clue as to how to use it. I followed the instructions to set newsgroups up in outlook but I always hear about other newsgroup programs. so questions are: good newsgroups for xbox, roms, ps2, gba good free newsgroup reader. and any other pointers you can give. thanx

one of my pcs restarts itself about 3 or 4 times aday for no reason. I've never been able to figure out why. but it seems to happen more with winXP when I am running 98se it doesn't do it so much.

ok here are my test results from dsl reports. speed test what do you guys think? is this a good speed or do i need to tweak anything.

hehehehehe....most of those tech's don't know what the f@ck they are doing yeah I know it. lol there's already been 3 techs here in the last 4 days for various reasons. it seems a tech will come fix one thing and mess up another.

any riced out fast and furious style ride is funny to me. they all look like krap. no need for a pic cuz everyone has some vin diesel wannabe in their hood with some "pimped" electric blue/lime green honda civic. gah. american muscle anyday. if it was built after 1970 it just isn't worth it.

is it just mine or is every dsl installation a nightmare? I recently moved out of hill billy central so I figured it's high time for some broadband. so i call up the phone company to get both my phone and dsl hooked up. that was last tuesday. 2 phone techs have been out just for the phone line. they said the install kit would be here friday, friday came and went. ups brought it yesterday. I followed all the instructions to a tee and nothing, no sync. called up the techs and they did a bunch of nothing over the phone. and sent me a line tech today. he was here for a total of 20 minutes. he called the same people i called and they say it is the line and have to send out a different tech tomarrow. so what's up is every install this much of a pain? I'm really tired of waiting for techs to come to my house everyday.

everyone got thier own opinion and arguing is useless. they aren't gonna change thier minds. now on topic I've said before that VF4 is the only 3D fighter I will play seriously. comparing tekken and VF is like comparing checkers and chess. they both contain the same basic parts but are totally different games. both are fun, but don't appeal to everyone.

since it's a launch system the warrenty is way dead long before I opened it up. but sending it so sony would almost cost as much as a new one. I'll look into a new laser and motor assembly. maybe I can come up with something. as I've said before, if it weren't for smackdown and macross I'd never play my ps2 anymore anyways.

I like those PC adventure games you have. Very cool. heheh yeah alot of those I can't get to work with xp. maybe I'll pick up a jurassic pc so I can play hell again.

well that's it my ps2 is dead. it's lasted since launch and taken a near fatal header off the entertainment center last year rendering the dvd drawer useless. (thank god for fliptops) it just won't load anything anymore. I've tried it all. cleaning, canned air, tape on the discs roughed up the white magnet thing. it just won't spin up a disc to the speed required. anyone got other ideas? my dc and psx have outlived my ps2 I don't think I'll be getting a replacement unless I find a cheap used one.

here's mine the pc list is nowhere near complete, just the old school adventure stuff. the GC, ps2 and ps list is totally complete. xbox list isn't complete. I know I have over 40 xbx games not counting emulator discs. the dc is pretty accurate mighta missed a few plus emu discs. now how many of those are actual retail discs? I ain't sayin' heheh I notice everyone has hella dc games, and everyone who listed GC only has like 8 games. I wonder why that is
