That's what I figured, just making sure. Is this an actual commercial thing, or just an underground thing? -
Need coh1002t.bin for G-Darius (Japan)
Thunder In Paradise replied to Nicko's topic in Arcade Emulators [/pc/arcade]
Hey Nick, I have the file in question, but if your planning to play it in MAME, don't bother. This game (I also have the romset), is one of those stupid games that the MAME developers added to the game list, but it still doesn't work. You can try, but it's just like Dead Or Alive and Raiden 2, they don't play, even though the romsets exist. -

Thunder In Paradise replied to -VIOLENCE-'s topic in N64 Emulators [/pc/n64]
Yeah, the version I have runs totally fine, except for when you press "Start" and it opens up the sub-menu, then it like pauses, then it resumes with the sub-menu opened. -

And what actaully is the big deal with this? What's wrong with just using ZSNES for SNES emulation? -

--::Metroid Zero Mission::-- Released!
Thunder In Paradise replied to NeoMaster's topic in Other Emulators [/pc/other]
Well, it's probably easier to those who have played the very first metroid since Zero Mission is just the original NES Metroid, redone. Kinda like when they re-did Mario 2 for the All-Stars cart. Probably still going to get it though, still looks fun, and there's probably alot of good sprites to rip from it. -

What's wrong with MAME32?
Thunder In Paradise replied to Gryph's topic in Arcade Emulators [/pc/arcade]
What's wrong with MAME? Nothing much really. Yes, the interface could use a new facelift, seeing as how this is the 79th release of the emulator. But also, MAME is the ONLY emulator that can play all the great arcade games, new and old. The only things the Kawaks (gotta love it!) and Nebula play, are basically Neo Geo and Capcom games from the last 6-8 years. I personally love MAME since it's the only way to play all the awesome vertical shooters that AREN'T EVEN RELEASED ON ANY OTHER SYSTEM, let alone in any other country. That's why I like it, because it has a jillion games that are only playable in MAME, and no, they're not just old crap games that nobody plays. -
King Of Fighters 2003 (kof2003.zip) News III
Thunder In Paradise replied to James's topic in Gossip Café [/offtopic]
Ok, another silly question. Why does everybody keep talking about all these "story" type things? I've played all the KOF games, and I always thought it was just a fighting game. Does it have to be set on Console mode or something? Even between fights, I've never seen any stories being told or anything. And PEOPLE, PEOPLE! If your having trouble with moves or whatnot, BUY A GAMEPAD! You will not regret it! I have the Saitek P2500 Rumble Pad, and it's awesome to play with! -
Best Spyware/Adware Remover?
Thunder In Paradise replied to Thunder In Paradise's topic in Gossip Café [/offtopic]
Actaully, I wsa using Spybot last night, and since I also have BPS on my system, Spybot pointed out that BPS uses a stolen Spyboy reference file for it's core! So I'm going to remove it, and run it again to get everything off. -
Hey. Well, kinda of an easy topic. I'd like to get some rounded IDE cables for my drives, as well as some CCFL tubes for lighting. What's the best place, that has the most selection? Specifically, I need rounded IDE cables, in black, at 8-12" and another at 18"-24". For the CCFL, I'd like just deep blue, a double setup.

22 here also.

King Of Fighters 2003 (kof2003.zip) News III
Thunder In Paradise replied to James's topic in Gossip Café [/offtopic]
I've played and do have every KOF that has come out already, including 2k3, and I was wondering if some of you die-hard KOF people could help me out. I was just wondering, why does everybody go bezerk when a new KOF is rumored to be coming out, and then when it does get released, everybody has like orgasms playing it? Am I the only one that seems to think aside from the backgrounds, and maybe the music, that 03' is just the same as 94'? I mean, the characters pretty much are all the same, same clothes, same moves, etc. Another thing, what's with the moves anyways? Did the developers just feel like making them very hard to pick up on without reading some sort of move guide or something? It's not like Samurai Shodown or even Fatal Fury where if you just play for a little bit, do some button mashing if you don't know the moves, then you can pretty much do trial and error. In this series, you try that, and nothing happens, just punch, kick, punch, punch, kick, kick. I shouldn't knock it too much, there are some neat moves, but nothing really FLASHY! Is it too much to ask to atleast create some new fighters? Does it always have to be like Art of Fighting, and other nobodies that only people that play those games are interested in, over and over? Granted, the Fatal Fury team doesn't count because their series kicks! I don't know, maybe I'm over-analysing this game. What do you guys think? -
Question...experts are welcome as always

Well, I have DSL, and usually my speeds are up around 1.2MB/900KB, so I couldn't figure it out. Could it have been just a slow person on the other side? Does having a firewall mess with this program? Taratata, haven't you ever tried Kazaa? If I get good sources, I can get up to around 120-150KB/s.
