Geez Lucian, if you would've used FILEMIRRORS.COM, it would've taken 10 sec. instead of 2 weeks to find any rom that your looking for. Last Blade 2 is alot of fun, although I think the SS series moves a little faster, and has better moves in terms of flashy-type attacks.

Hey Guys. Anyways, I need to find a special NSF plugin for Winamp 2.80, and I was wondering if any of you guys have it. I did have it, but deleted by mistake! When you go to load a NSF file, there's this little "bar" that pops up, usually right above the EQ section, and it's got a little slider that you can move around, and on the bad it's got little lines where each song is located. There are 2 plugins like this, but the one I want has a little bit wider slider bar, where the other one is really tiny.

Yeah, I also read that post at neo-geo.com about the hidden stuff they found while debugging the code and stuff. Pretty cool, although if you guys look closely, doesn't that giant turtle kinda look like it's super-imposed over the thing it's sitting on? I could be imagining things, but the lighting and shading, especially around the legs and near the feet, it totally doesn't match at all.

Negative James. mslug5 will run in Hacked Kawaks 1.46 by using a Loader. Ironically, Kawaks wouldn't detect the romset when it was named mslugnd. Kinda weird huh?

I can't wait till this comes out! It has some delicious looking sprites that have to ripped! And yes, they have dumped games that came out after 2000, like GigaWing and Mars Matrix.

I use NeoRageX v.9.0c as well and it runs most of the new games if they're the correct romset. Also, as posted before, if any game shows up in the game list as "SuperDuper.zip", then you can play it, it doesn't matter what it shows up as, as long as NRX picks it up when you hit "Import", then it'll play.

I use the Saitek P2500 Rumble Pad. Kicks ass, except the only thing I wish they would change is make it so it has 4 shoulder buttons (like a PS controller) instead of the 2. Other then that, it's great!

Sorry Repo, all those sprites, or atleast the ones in the Street Fighter Alpha 3 page, all have artifacts in them. Artifacts meaning the tiny little dots you can clearly see moving around on the bodies. This is due to bad optimization. If you want quality sprites, check out gsarchives.net, head to the forums for all the latest goodness.

Does anyone know any information on whether this game will be/has already been emulated? I'm sure it's going to be under Kawaks sometime.

Yes, it works with Kawaks. You have to use the Hacked v1.45, or v.146 though, and you have to have an updated asr.dat to play it. Just use filemirrors.com, and do a search for mslug4, and for the emulator, use the same search place, and do a search for kawaks. Simple.

I usually don't pay for software, basically because I don't feel that the price warrants the amount of use I'll be putting it through. I recently bought Unreal Tournament 2003 and Unreal 2, and I was really happy that I didn't DL those because I love them both. But usually I just DL everything else like Paint Shop Pro 8, and Lightwave 7.5 because stuff like Lightwave and Photoshop 7.0 are quite expensive($700-1,200). P.S. Anybody know a good location to pick up a Norton Anti-Virus 2004 activation key gen?

Hey. Has anybody played this game with a different emulator besides Project 64? I've played this, and for the love of god, it won't run full speed! Is this just a bad rom dump? Is there a better emulator that will run it faster? I have like P4 at 2.5Ghz w/ 512MB of PC3200 RAM. THANKS!

Holy Crap, is it really that hard to get this game to work? Why are you guys using some off-the-wall version of NeoRage? It's totally simpler if you just use the hacked version of Kawaks 1.46 w/ a loader, and the normal SSV rom, from filemirrors.com. You shouldn't need the p1.rom, you need that for Metal Slug 5 to run correctly.

Yeah, I also need that file in order to make Soukyugurentai work! HELP! Edit: Nevermind, I found it. It's actually part of a MAME bios.zip file with some other stuff. But hey, if anybody needs it, drop me an email! P.S. DAMN! I tried running this beast, and she wouldn't take! Got all the way to "system check" then just quit. This thing really chews up your system. I have a 2.5Ghz P4 with 512MB of PC3200 RAM, and the processor was maxed out and about 90% of the RAM was too!

Here is my.dat file that has all the newest games (except KOF2003 so far). Just toss this into your main Kawaks dir, but make sure you have a hacked loader, or it might not work. As far as the graphics being glitchy, it could be the bad rom dump floating around. Just re-download it again, make sure all the CRC's are correct, patch it the p1 update, and everything should work. http://members.roadfly.com/thunderinparadise/asr.dat Oh, you have to make sure that the name of the romset that is in the asr.dat file, in this case "mslug5", matches the name of the zipped rom otherwise Kawaks won't detect it or make it run.

Guys, if you have the hacked version of Kawaks 1.46, and a Kawaks loader (usually it comes with the program itself), all you need to do is just keep updating the asr.dat file in order to play all the newest romsets. Just use filemirrors.com and do a search for mslug5 to find a whole bunch of downloads. Also, you will also need the p1 update as stated before.
