  1. I think the end of mankind will be resultant from some kind of humanmade disaster but I think the world will end with some kind of giant meteor smashing into it. I mean let's face it the world is going to last a lot longer than we will. We were only created so we the earth could have those little plastic undegradable cups. Now it has them. we have no use. So expect lots of earthquakes and volcanoes popping up all over the place anytime soon
  2. I've been to a couple. To be honest I can never be bothered carrying all that equipment about with me. What was fun was playing huge deathmatches on Quake in the CS labs at university ie no carrying stuff about, over 100 high speed computers, super fast, and the element of danger from getting caught
  3. Late happy BD from me I've had computer (and time) troubles the last few days.
  4. I suggest you start with something simpler like the Sega Master System and then move on to tougher projects.
  5. Yeah DC is definately the best value console around at the moment. Lots of AAA titles for next to nothing. By the way if you can get Shenmue II for £5 then take it because you can sell it for far more on ebay. The same goes for REZ, Headhunter and any other PAL exclusive DC games. Anyway the last real bargain I got was Panzer Dragoon Orta for the Xbox for £6 new It has to be the best looking game I have ever seen too.
  6. I hated school but university was fun. Anyway I'm glad I don't need to go to either anymore
  7. sorry. There shouldn't be a dot after html. I fixed the link.
  8. If it is pokemon red for the gameboy mono then yes you can. You can download the emulator you need (TGB Dual) from http://www.zophar.net/gb.html It will let you exhange stuff in all the GB and GBC pokemon games by running two roms at the same time. If it is pokemon ruby for the gameboy advance then you can't, sorry
  9. Kazaa has spyware and other crap that you don't want. I think kazaa now also limits you to mp3s with bitrates of 128kbps and under. Kazaa lite is a spyware/adware free alternative that has no limits etc It's just better. anyway yes I do use kazaa for TV episodes, movies and music. I've never used it for games because the bins you get are always corrupt. And no I won't be stopping using it anytime soon. I don't live in America though so we aren't being tracked yet
  10. I don't think the lawsuit will work because effectively they would have to sue the manufacturers of any sugary treat they eat. I do however think that fast food is addictive and like cigarette companies the fast food companies have an obligation to have warnings and to try and offer reduced calorie stuff. I do agree with you guys though. Fast food is pretty rotten anyways (except for mcflurries!)
  11. I'm looking forward to a few titles, all with equal ammounts of excitement. Halo 2 Mario 128 Half Life 2 Doom 3 Thief 3 Final Fantasy CC Final Fantasy Tactics Advance Mario & Luigi RPG Deus Ex 2 SW:Knights of the Old Republic Mario Golf & Tennis Fable BC Soul Calibur 2 etc etc etc
  12. Ok it was Fat Bobby on the Lynx. An easier one up now
  13. D-Pad, mainly because I play mostly classic games from older consoles so analogue wasn't needed.
  14. Bonus 2: I think it was playing cards. And that was about 100 years ago or something.
  15. Not jelly boy but you are right, the game is on the atari lynx
  16. Real: Parents AGAIN heh VG: Sonic or Mario Other: Jimi Hendrix
  17. welcome back. I just came back from a little vacation too. I didn't have to though as it is so warm here. In fact it is too warm and I might die of dehydration . Yesterday was the hottest ever day in Britain......ever. 38 degrees C!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 101 degrees F for you Americans
  18. I got mine because I love the sony playstation......no wait, thats not right
  19. I like gamefaqs but I hate the forums. Every topic ends up turning into a battle of the fanboys. It is so annoying
  20. The only thing you need is the flash cart and the linker to connect to your computer and write the roms to the cartridge. So all you need is the flash cart and the linker and they usually come together The 64M set you posted has everything you need to use GBA roms. I would recommend getting at least 128M though because there are some good games that are that size now (eg Doom II, Golden Sun: Lost Age, Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire, Sonic Advance 2 etc) The bridge is a different thing. The bridge lets you use Gameboy Color and Gameboy mono roms on your GBA with a flash cart. They are pretty cheap though so you can always get a bridge and a linker. It's not 100% necessary though as there are a couple of Gameboy emulators being made for the GBA already. If you need to know anymore then just ask as I'm quite into the GBA scene at the moment
  21. No but there have been plenty of fake ones. I think we will see GBA and N64 emulators as they are possible, despite the lack of RAM, but it won't be for a while yet. You can still get online pretty easy. Just plug your modem into the phone line and get a browser. I think you can still send away for a free Dreamkey 3.0 browser from sega Europe but I'm not sure. Dreamkey 3.0 also comes with Phantasy Star Online v2.0 so you could get it that way. If you can't you can use http://homebrew.dcemulation.com/xdp/xdp.html. It's a homebrew browser with lots of added extras and works just as well. If you are on dialup then you can use your own ISP with both Dreamkey and the homebrew browser. It's just a case of putting in your ISP phone number and username and pass, very simple. If you are using broadband then you will need to get a broadband adaptor and they don't come cheap. This is a list of games that are still working online: http://dcog.netfirms.com/ Hopefully at some point there will be a way of getting good homebrew servers going. It would be nice if sega released the protocols to work the modem because then nobody would have to worry about the servers going offline and it's not like Sega would be losing money from that. Anyway that won't happen until they stop making new DC games in Japan (not that it's likely to ever happen even when they stop selling games )
  22. Thats pretty much the same for me but if I really had the chance to fly anywhere I would fly inside a volcano or something.
  23. Sonic the hedgehog probably. Although I would like to be in an RPG like Skies of Arcadia. I think being an air pirate would be quite cool Also I wouldn't mind being Sam the dog in "Sam n Max" because I would love to spend a day with Max. He rocks.
