  1. How close have they come to finally getting those darn'd emulators to work? I have been waiting for sooooo long and its just not here... or is it? I dunno, I'm asking you guys. I am for computers and against consoles. What a waste of money. 200 bucks could easily be spent on a new mo-board, or more RAM. How 'bout a new HDD? Anything that has been made on the computer can be run on the computer. Nuff said.
  2. Hey sup guys. Haven't posted in a while. I don't know who all the n00bs are. I have been really busy with school and all. But back to business... Has anyone that you have known ever died? I knew this girl, and she wasn't the prettiest girl you have ever met, but she had a good heart, she was a hard worker, and she was a friendly person in school. Well, she died in a car accident this past weekend. I just read about it in a news article this morning, for I had been on a trip for a wedding. Death. It happens so suddenly. One instant you're having the time of your life and the next... I dunno. It just makes me wonder. Would you rather die in an instant, or would you rather feel the pain, watch yourself bleed or suffocate. She died 6 hours after the accident. How would you feel if you had immense pain for six hours, and then your heart just had no more blood to pump, or your lungs had no more air to breathe? To feel the pain and to suffer before you died... We didn't have anything going on between us, we were just friends. But I wish I could just feel her pain, six hours of it; I wish I could listen to her thoughts, to know what was going through her head because by the time you get to experience that, it's too late and you will never get to tell that special someone that you loved them, say goobye to your family, your friends... you may not even have any last words... Once there gone, they are not coming back. Obvious, I know, but just think about it; we have only lived maybe a fifth of our lives, if that much. That person will never be seen ever again, by anyone. You will never hear her voice, look at her smile, or be able to talk about her without everyone going quiet. Every time there is a brain process of death, you will be reminded of that. It will haunt you for the rest of your life. And then you will ask, "Why?" Why did it have to happen? Why now? Why her? Why not so and so? Or why do humans die? I hope this is a reminder to people everywhere. Humans are not invulnerable. Any stupid move could lead to the death of yourself or someone else. Even worse, it could lead to a handicap that you would have to live with for the rest of your life. I hope whoever reads this has thoughts as deep as mine are on the subject, and try to put yourself in that persons shoes for the last moments of their life, and then put yourself in the parents shoes, and in the friends and families, and realize that you should observe every situation in your life, and decide on the safest path to take.
  3. Yeah I had one. Only one that I could think of at least. In the first Mario Party there was this one mini-game where you had to rotate the joystick really fast. Well using your thumb apparently wasnt fast enough. My friend and I would use our palms. We actually did it so fast that we took off skin from our palms. Very painful. People were actually writing to Nintendo Power about this too and they replied with an N64 glove that they were selling for $5.
  4. Dude, I know what you mean, being a Water Polo player. But do you know whats the worst? When you have to run for conditioning, and all you do is swim. You are working out muscles that you dont use in the pool. Now I'm sore all over and I look like an idiot when I walk. I can't take a single step without feeling pain. In fact, I'm gonna have a hard time getting out of this chair I'm sitting in.
  5. Probably one of the best search engines for roms, programs, and movies, has succumbed to the Digital Milennium Copyright Act. From now on, you Are going to have to search for "!" and possibly "(U)" for all your console gaming needs. As for arcade games, they cant really keep you from downloading them because the filenames are like mvc.zip, mslug.zip, and xmvssf.zip, luckily. But try searching for something like "mario" and you wont get anything. http://www.filemirrors.com Remember, you are searching for filenames like mslug.zip, not for keywords like "Metal Slug." Good luck!
  6. Kazaa Lite. No spyware, no adware, no limits. Hmm... that should be their slogan...
  7. Thanks for all your help, but i already got my copy from Kazaa from the first reply, even though it took me 2 tries. Thanks all
  8. well if its on another forum then we shouldn't do it because we want to be the most original... im kidding. good idea
  9. It is basically the same thing as PhotoShop. They look the same, its just that PhotoShop has more filters and whatnot.
  10. Does anyone have a link to download this software? Im currently using Fireworks, but PhotoShop seems to be so much better. Help?
  11. Stupid... thing... wont let me... vote... twice. It depends for me. Most analogs on th computer are not perfect, and its really hard to find a good d-pad. Some games d-pad works better, it all depends.
  12. how long does it take to make a flash animation like that? I recently got a copy of Macromedia Studio MX (I won't say how...) and I'm trying to learn Flash
  13. Being a water polo player, and seeing that water polo doesn't start up again until fall, ill walk (or swim). When you don't excersize for a while, and sit in front of the computer all day, your legs feel stiff, and your eyes hurt...
  14. Link definitely. All Megaman has is energy projectiles, and link could just block them with his shield or knock em back with his sword. As for Megaman's light sabre sword thingy... Link is a master swordsman... with the Master Sword... which can't be broken, by the way...
