Yeah, Robo-Ky was in XX as well, but in that game he was pretty much a rip-off of Ky. You should see Robo-Ky from #Reload, he's a separate character with his own personality in that game. And from the looks of it, it'd seem the Robo-Ky in Isuka is the same one from #Reload. Anyway, A.B.A. seems like a interesting new character (that key is fu*king huge -- bring in that geek from Kingdom Hearts and you're all set! lol) but too bad she had to make her debut in a crappy piece of crap like Isuka.

I stopped watching Noir after like the 6th episode. I dunno, it has a slow start and I just could not get over the fact that though the creators were aiming for a certain element of realism, there was just no blood whatsoever dispite all the violence. Don't get me wrong, I'm not some idiot who gets an orgasm over seeing some blood, but if the show aims for a certain amount of realism, you'd think there'd be some blood when people get shot. Still, I haven't seen the rest of it, so I can't say much for the entire series save those I've seen.

Heh I'm afraid I can't say anything too impressive here. Just that my writing experience thus far is primarily limited to all those writing classes I've (and continue to) take in school. But I have written some stuff on my own free time, and I think I write best when I'm not forced to do so through fear of bad grades or meeting a set deadline. Yeah, so I'd like to eventually make a living doing something flexible and not so rigidly restricted with deadlines; and when I'm not forced to, I do enjoy writing.

Sorry, you probably know more than I. All I know is that I detest deadlines and would love to work in a career that is much more flexible -- god knows we've all had one too many deadlines for school anyway.

Yes, deadlines suck. But what company doesn't have deadlines? If there are any, then I'd love to work for that company. So, yeah, I'd like to work for a company that doesn't impose any deadlines on its employees. None, basically.

I don't think there's a manga called Samurai X. You're probably just thinking of Rurouni Kenshin. Samurai X was the name the Kenshin OVAs were released under due to name ownership issues (some BS like that) with another company that had the rights to the original name "Rurouni Kenshin." Yeah, it can get pretty confusing; but Kenshin was never a Samurai. I guess Ranma 1/2 is pretty popular with some of the members here -- guess I'll check it out, if I can find some sources to download. heh

Alright, I wrote a somewhat lengthy reply regarding the Kenshin T.V. series but got lost when my connection died. So in a nutshell: 1) The last season (after death of Shishio) sucked because the T.V. producers made up their own story cuz they didn't want to wait around for the comic artist/creator to finish up the last arc of the story. 2) The Kenshin comic is much better due to the fact that everything that was on the t.v. series was based ON the manga, not vice versa. 3) To know the true ending to the story, you need to read the comic.

Yes, but those roms we play on the emulators, they all pretty much have an arcade counterpart. I'm really not sure if Melty Blood has ever been released for the arcades -- and I certainly never seen one before. I only play fighting games that are still being played in arcade tournaments.

Yeah, lately I've been downloading manga scanslations and stuff. I'm becoming more and more interested in these Japanese comics; unlike American comics, they're so diverse and there's a lot of interesting ones I've never knew existed. Lately I've been reading Tenjo Tenge scanslations, Midori no Hibi (getting a bit redundant though), and a bunch of others. Also, I've been getting the Rurouni Kenshin manga. Up till now, I've only seen the OVAs and the butchered up cartoon series which used to air on Cartoon Network. The manga is a hell of a lot better; nothings been edited out and the cartoon series was based on the manga in the first place, and not vice versa. Only thing that annoys me is that this series now has a publisher in the U.S. so all the scanslations have been pulled off the web, and I had to resort to purchasing the volumes from a store -- though I'm glad to say nothing's been edited out, but it'll take years before the whole series is released into english. So, anyone Japanese comic fans here? Post comments/whatever.
