Set moves...as in change the button config? If that is your question, press TAB when the game starts and a menu should show up. There you can change the button config.

KOF2003 is the most fresh and fast paced new release. If you posted this 2 days ago, my answer would have been SVC: Chaos. But in the light of this new game, I have now changed my mind.

Howcome everyone is bitching so much about MAME32? I mean, just load the game and forget what EMU you're using. As long as the game works, how does it matter? Is MAME32 slower? Does it take more resources? What's so horrible about it? By the way, this isn't a confrontational post, I'm just wondering because I'm new to Mame and find nothing wrong with it. I find nothing wrong with any emulators (unless they really suck!). As long as they play the games, and the keys are configurable, how does it really make it a difference? I've been using Kawaks, Nebula, NeoRageX (most of my ROMs are for NeoRage), and now this Mame32 and I really find no HUGE difference. What is the big difference between these emus?

Speaking of voices, I find that announcer's voice a bit annoying. LEADER SELECT! MEMBER SELECT! ORDER SELECT! Why do they use crappy announces for ALL fighting games, Capcom included. And yes, Billy's new voice is weird. I though the sound file was messed up because he sounded way too woman-y. Also, look at Duo Lon's left foot in his standing stance. It looks weird.

Nope. I just UnRARed it and played. No fiddling, no nothing. And I can't find the MAME dat file to change the CRC. The odd thing is that, that the game works fine until I audit it.

So to those of you who have played it, what do you think? I'm still not used to it yet. I really didn't devote too much time into playing the game but I did practice with some characters. I'm not too fond of the LDM system. I don't like the idea that only one of the guys can do an SDM. And I wish it was possible to change the leader after each match. I don't like being stuck with the same guy. I like K''s new air fireball. I don't really like that Ash is a charge character, but I got over it. Terry's D-Power Dunk goes REALLY HIGH! I was amazed at how high it went. I like the way the levels are tall now. I don't really like the small selection portraits of the characters. It looks worse than all the previous KOFs. The actual portrait artwork is decent though. Overall, I'm satisfied with the game. If I think of something else, I'll add it.

Supposedly, KOF 2003 is the last MVS game, future games will be on Sammy's Atomisware. It's good for SNK, so they can stop losing money to bootleggers, but will also be the end of future Neo Geo emulation. But Atomisware will EVENTUALLY get emulated. It maybe a few years but they aren't invincible. They'll make their money off that system while people are trying to emulate it. And if history is a guide, hopefully they'll stick with Atomisware for 10 years like the MVS

HA! It's the same exact way here. My college's arcade has 2 MvC2 arcades and these guys are damn good. flocking losers they are. I told one guy (actually a friend), "I prefer SNK games like King of Fighters and Samurai Shodown" and he called me a faggot. He then proceded to say that "SNK games look like ass and play like ass!" Then I told him that I would burn him a CD with my SNK fighting game ROMs and give it to him so he can play. Now he loves KOF. A story with a happy ending.

Oh yeah! I forgot to tell you guys this. You might have figured it out my now but here it is anyway. To get the Practice Menu in Practice Mode, press 7. It's not the Coin button (5). It's weird but it works.

Is anyone having this problem: When I right click on the ROM in MAME, and go to the AUDIT tab, it says one of the CRCs is bad. Then the game doesn't show up when I load MAME again. First it says: Status Working Then it says Status Failed (or something like that) It's not really a problem since all I have to do is unrar MAME again to fix it, but it still is an error.

Oooh. Someone's mad! You should have known your facts before you made that post. There was no need to clarify my statement, it's common knowledge (if you live in the US atleast). I'm worth my salt and I learned that presidents can serve for a max of 10 years. Let's end this bickering and say that I'm the jackass for flying off the handle in the beginning. Does any one know if there is a moves list anywhere. And geez this game is hard to play on the keyboard. It's really hard to do DMs and SDMs in this game.

How do I play in CONSOLE mode? I've never used MAME so I have no clue. I tried to switch the BIOS but its all MVS Bioses.
