The animations on my cheese slow down all the time! It's terrible! You can actually see animations slow down; On another board this one dude had a GIF of Tarma (from Metal Slug) shooting with his pistol. It's pretty funny to watch when the shooting animation clearly slows down. Not to mention that big GIF that Fatal had in his sig a while ago. That was murder in IE.

Yes, I know of this....although I haven't tried it, I assume it takes a fair bit of resources.

the mode7 for the snes at that time was great. but the scaling (especially when the object got near you) was absolutely horrid. it was a total block fest. Yeah, but considering the hardware, pixelation while scaling the image is unavoidable. Well, Snes9x let's you use Bllinear MODE7 which remedies part of the pixelation.

Ie is a bit like swiss cheese; way too many holes And it's quite unstable + some animations slow down IE alot.

Chalk it up to bad experiences I guess. this is how topics are on most message boards; not all people can answer a certain question or they feel tht they have nothing "valuable" to contribute to the topic... Yeah. SPCs were pretty awesome for their time. The only thing that the genesis beat the SNES on was CPU speed. SNES = Western Design Center 65816 3.58Mhz, Genesis = Motorola 68K 7.61 Mhz. but the great support hardware more than made up for that. True. Not to mention that the special chips that were designed for the SNES (DSP1-4, SPC7100, S-DD1, SuperFX1/2 etc.) made the SNES more versatile than anything else on the market at that time.

It does work in NeoRAGEx... but you just get generic Zetsumei Ougis (Unless you want to use that patch that makes things way too easy.).
