Yes, this might actually work in some cases, since Static RAM sometimes behaves incorrectly when the emulator writes it.

I'm also OK with it if someone else wants to host games; it doesn't have to be me all the time. A server for 1Emulation tourneys would be nice.

I don't use Encrypted sets or rom images, but I'm sure some people get their kicks out of it. Since Mame FBA can handle encrypted sets and I rather use them. I am greatfull for any work and codes that will get the proper roms working in Mame , FBA Gameplay is not the only thing about emulation. Yes yes, I know. You are a passionate supporter of rigorously authentic emulation, right down to encryption routines. It's nice james, it really is. I like authentic emulation too, and encourage it, but I've made an exception when it comes to Neo-Geo. One of the other reason I don't use encrypted sets is that they usually take more space than decrypted ones (Like it matters when I have a 160GB HDD, but still; old habits die hard).

Are you using Kawaks + loader ? If you're using a loader, try to add the rom info to the asr.dat file (check the stickied dat thread) Yes, you can't add games to the original Kawaks, but Loader will let you. how can i find the missing roms when nobody wants to help me? Teh intarweb is vast. There's nothing that can't be found there. Take some time to look and use Google. There is a 'No ROM Requests' rule in effect for a reason

Then that's not an option. I don't suggest that you start mass PMing either. Use P2P and DC++.

What xeno said. There is no gray area when it comes to the rules. Sorry man, but you're on your own. Search and you'll find what you need eventually. When you find those missing roms and you still have problems, don't hesitate to ask.

I have the PC version of Super Puzzle Fighter 2 Turbo and Street Fighter Alpha 2. Both are very good ports. Then again, when I discovered CPS2 emulation, those became sorta obsolete.
