Forgive me for not contributing much to help you out, but daqmn, that's one f*ucked up computer you have there... In any case, do you have an intergrated ethernet card? Was there any problems with the Windows install or device management?

Yeah, this is very bad. But... when nature decides to flip you off, you have no choice but to hang on to the best of your abilities. Sadly, many people could not hang on.

I have to say at this point that I was extatic when I finally went to a gameshow called Game On. It showcased games from things older than Pong to they newest pixel pushers. All playable. Bliss.

The hole you are referring to is most likely the RJ-45 Ethernet socket. All ethernetcards have those nowadays.
