From what I've been reading and hearing, RE4 will be ones of the best games in the RE series. That being said, I also have no problem with the fact that it soesn't do things like the older installments did gameplay-wise. Btw, Leon Kennedy rocks.

I've always used Sidewinders, but like Weirdy said, a converter and a PS2 Dual Shock is great for emulation.

As for KOF2003 being coppy on MAME32, try setting a frameskip of 2. I'd still suggest trying other emulators as well (even NeoRAGEx), but if you have no luck with those, fiddle around with MAME32's settings (mainly video settings) until you get acceptable framerates. [this is really not the place to put such posts, but whatever] The bar and the RIP on the side is a part of an RPG mod for the 1Emulation board. all users have levels, kill counter, HP, EXP etc. Somebody killed you. Go check your profile to see the attack logs.

Some random notes about the PS2 port. It's being completely [1]rebuilt from stratch, [2]under a new development team, [3]without Maymaki's supervision at all (he pulled a fit when Capcom announced it, he wasn't even told about it). Yeah, this is exactly what I've been hearing. Shame really, since Maymaki is great.

I would get a GC just for both Metroid Primes, and Pikmins... but I don't have the cash. As for RE4, I was quite surprised that they were going to port it to the PS2, as it was GC-exclusive for so long.

Alternatively, you could try ZiNc 1.02 + Aldo's Frontend combo. you get get Aldo's frontend from http://www.aldostools.com Also remember that ZiNc 1.0 and newer use MAME sets.

Well, what are the CRCs of the four files you have and what does Kawaks excpet them to be? For an easier solution, Find Kawaks Loader and make your own DAT for the romset you have.

Both Kawaks and Nebula use the same type of DATs, and only Loaders read modified datfiles. For reference, here's my Nebula DAT for KOF2003. Same game, different set. have you tried them both? Looks like the sound roms have been merged and some of the graphics roms as well. The only difference seems to be the P2 and S roms.

I hate ricers with a passion but I don't think I'd like this game. Doesn't sound like something I'd enjoy playing, I practically hate all racing games if it doesn't involve running people over. Hahah,,, so true. Wrecking usually works for me.

It's kind of like a book where you have to smash two buttons to turn the pages. I'm not sure what genre that'd be classified under. A graphic novel with some action? That 's quite sad nonetheless.

Good racing games IMO are: Burnout 3: Takedown Any Ridge Racer Gran Turismo 3 and, quite possibly 4 (for those who like realism) WipeOut XL/3/Fusion F-Zeros Nintendo's kart games starting from Mario Kart on the SNES

Squaresoft ruined The Bouncer. I wouldn't say ruined, but it could have been so much more as well.
