whats the flocking point of making it then? Because making movie adaptations out of video games is the latest rage, even if it means butchering the original story. It looks like a RE clone now. Sort of.

if you can get Kawaks Loader to show up games, use that. If not, use Nebula Loader. NeoRAGEx is an acquired preference of mine, but that being said, it's quite outdated, but still a very viable option. If James were here, he'd cut me off pretty quick and tell you to use MAME. But then again, that's an acquired preference on his part.

Basically it's about a town called Silent Hill somewhere in America. The people living there are all part of a cult that worships Samael (basically Satan). Samael's power manifests itself turning ones greatest fears and even memories into grotesque monsters. This is how I've understood it anyway. First there's Silent Hill. Silent Hill 2 was a completely separate story, but still it has everything to do with the cursed town. SH3 continues where SH left off. Silent Hill 4: the Room, like SH2, is once again a separate story. All games have clues and and whatnot that explain things in other SH games. SH4 explains surprisingly much about the subtle story changes in SH2.

If I were you, I'd ditch the dev in a flash, since it uses different sets than the "normal" Kawaks, IIRC.

Pyramid Head in Silent Hill 2 is tstill the best monster in a horror game ever, with Valtiel from SH3 coming as second. Got to love those.

I have Silent Hill, but haven't finished it. The horror elements and the pure genius soundtrack are what draws me to this series over and over again. I've completed both 2 and 3 a couple of times. As For Silent Hill 4: The Room, I'm not even halfway through it yet, and loving every second of it. btw, I've never seen the Noise filter used as effectively anywhere as Team Silent does in these games. The fog is also godly atmospheric.

The way things are going now, that won't happen. My Tv doesn't even support NTSC signal. It does PAL60 however, but tht doesn't mean much since all PS2 games that I've seen (that support 60Hz) output NTSC in that mode.

They really do. Hell, I'm replaying MGs2 with joy because I accidentally deleted my dog tag saves. It's still loads of fun after all these years, and MGS3 will will be no exception. Like Mr. G there said, it's not emulated thanks to the bitchy CPS-3 encryption routines. When they do get it emulated, you'll know as long as you keep your eyes on this board.

Ah, you meant copiers. You should really check the UK eBay site, that's your best best. For SNES jusdt get a Super Wild card DX2 that has support for Star Ocean and the other games that use custom chips.
